John's Cottage, Leenane

Quaint traditional cottage with stunning views over the Killary Harbour. Tucked away in the Connemara Mountains with views over the Killary Fjord which is one of only three examples of glacial fjords you will find in Ireland. Johns cottage is in Galway but across the harbour lies Mayo and locals say if you look careful enough you will see the line dividing the two counties down the middle of the harbour!

Killary Fjord stretches for a beautiful 16 kilometres in towards the famous village of Leenane where many scenes the well known Irish movie 'The Field' were filmed.

An ideal location from which to explore all that Connemara has to offer, with lots of activities close by such as Killary Adventure Centre, Delphi Centre, Kylemore Abbey, Westport Town, Croagh Patrick. boat trips and many more. Johns Cottage is charming, comfortable and conveniently located!

Comfortable accommodation with kitchen/dining room with an open fire and all mod cons, comfortable living room with large windows to sit back and enjoy the views - TV with free to air channels. Three bedrooms - 1 double, 1 single and 1 twin room with ensuite shower room. Separate shower room.
