40th Birthday Weekend
Used this home as a base for a weekend in the Peak District, with 5 other couples. The building is stunning, kitchen is well stocked with appliances and other items. 2 fridge/freezers which were handy. Lots of spaces to relax and the hot tub was fantastic. WiFi is poor in wider areas of the house but excellent within the room of the house the modem is in. However, this is expected in a building of this size and didn’t ruin the weekend at all. Fanastic space to celebrate with friends for. Grown up weekend and in a great position for the peaks. Great Parking for 6 couples and close to leek.

We had the best time for my partners surprise 40th and some of his friends & family.. The house is super old and super beautiful all the rooms are very comfortable with own bathrooms perfect for couples . we spent so much time in the house as didn't want to leave even had party pigs to bring us food in on the Friday after we had arrived.. There is a great walk straight from the house to the Rudyard hotel and lake lovely area.. I could go on and on because each and every one of us enjoyed every minute .. So a big thank you to the owners as nothing was to much trouble and made our stay unforgettable xxx Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A party of 11 adults, we spent a fabulous weekend at this lovely house.
A party of 11 adults, we spent a fabulous weekend at this lovely house. Extremely clean, wonderful facilities including complimentary toiletries in every bathroom. A welcome basket with wine, chocolates and biscuits was another lovely touch. The hot tub was a lovely place to relax and we were very lucky with the weather as two of the 3 days were gorgeous. Location was quiet and peaceful and views were amazing. We spent time canoeing at Rudyard Lake which was only a few minutes away, followed by ice-creams from the cafe overlooking the lake. Great evening meal on the Saturday at the Lazy Trout just a few miles away. Andrea was very helpful when we needed any advice. Genuinely couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Andrea for letting us stay at this lovely house. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We were a group of six friends enjoying a week together.
We were a group of six friends enjoying a week together. Dairy House Farm is a beautiful, very old house which has been updated to include lovely bathrooms and kitchen, while maintaing many original features. The owner provided a welcome hamper and toiletries, which was a really lovely touch. Access is along narrow country roads, so only come if you don't mind reversing! I'd definitely recommend this house.
