Cottage With Private Dock in The 1000 Islands. Pet Friendly.

Enjoy a stunning view of the St. Lawrence River while relaxing in a lounger on the deck sipping your favourite drink while the swans swim by and the boats cruise the river.

From the May 24th weekend to Thanksgiving Weekend (Canadian) the large deck is appointed with four Muskoka chairs, a propane fire pit, a patio heater, two sun loungers, patio furniture, two umbrellas with stands on wheels, and a propane BBQ. In the fall and winter the deck has six Muskoka chairs, a propane fire pit, a patio heater, and a propane bbq,

The dining and living rooms are open concept with a dining table with chairs for six people, a cozy electric fireplace, two sofas, three chairs, an ottoman, a coffee table, smart TV, and an Alexa. There are various shelves with games and books for family fun and reading pleasure.

The kitchen is fully equipped. There are stainless steel appliances including a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. For coffee and tea, there are a Keurig coffee maker and electric kettle. The kitchen is complete with all you need to cook and BBQ. Basics such as spices, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, and condiments are provided along with dishwasher soap and laundry detergent.

All bedding and towels are provided as well as wifi.

For your outside enjoyment in the summer, there are two kayaks, a canoe, fishing rods, and four mountain bikes (26"). Four adult life jackets (2x L and 2x M) are supplied along with bike helmets and locks. If you bring kids, please bring your own children's life jackets and helmets. In the winter the area is renowned for ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.

There is a private dock located in front of the cottage (Available for use in the summer. For other times, please check with owner). It measures 40' x 8'. It is arranged for boat docking on the east side. Two Muskoka chairs are on the end of the dock for enjoying a morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The water depth at the dock is variable and can vary throughout the year. Please contact the hosts for the current depth.

If you plan on bringing your own boat, there is a Parks Canada boat launch located at Mallorytown Landing just two minutes drive. This is an excellent facility. Parks Canada does charge for the launch. You can park your trailer on the cottage property, but there is a length limit of 25' including the hitch. Please contact the hosts for detailed information.

For groceries, the bigger stores are found in Gananoque or Brockville, but for the last minute, there is the Lighthouse on the Parkway west of the cottage or the local Freshmart (locally known as Purcell's) to the north. Both are a short five and seven-minute drive respectively.

The 1000 Islands is your ideal vacation spot whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or enjoying time with friends. World-renowned for its beauty, there are numerous ways to explore.

In the area are golf courses, national parks, beautiful hiking trails, fishing, etc. Boat rentals are available at nearby Pecks Marina or river cruises from Brockville, Rockport, or Gananoque. There is a 37km paved bike path right at your front door. For evening entertainment there is the Thousand Islands Playhouse in Gananoque.

Home away from Home on the St Lawrence
My extended family and friends had a just wonderful month with Ed and Julie. Ed and Julie are superb hosts and The Blue Heron house is very welcoming with comfortable space for the whole family. We had so much fun with the boats and swimming in the St Lawrence and so much enjoyed this Frontenac Arch region. We took many exploring day trips to surrounding towns and the Rideau Canal. I can not recommend this home and hosts enough.

My family and I had the most amazing time staying at Julie & Ed's rental cottage in Mallorytown. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the waterfront views are unmatched! You won't find kinder or more thoughtful hosts than Julie and Ed. The cottage is extremely well- appointed and they have thought of every detail to make sure the stay is really enjoyable. We would all jump at the opportunity to stay here again in the future! Thanks Julie and Ed!
