The cottage overall was lovely, location was perfect.
The cottage overall was lovely, location was perfect. just a short walk to the local village and pubs/restaurants and 20 minute drive to the local wildlife park. The cottage was good for a 2 night stay but any longer would have required more efficient equipment, (television and shower were both temperamental). Due to COVID 19 the decor was pretty basic but the stay was comfort overall. The only main issue we came across was the cleanliness of the property on arrival, in particular the microwave. There was no way that it had been cleaned for some time with then made us question the cleanliness of other equipment. Luckily we only ate breakfast at the property but if we were there for any longer, we would not have been happy using the cooking equipment overall. lovely home from home
Lovely cottage in the beautiful location of Lechlade on Thames. The house is large and sufficient for what was needed for a three night break. We had 5 adults staying and it would have been better if we had an en suite and better seating as it was only sufficient for 4. That said fantastic little holiday home with lots of pubs and things to do surrounding it.

Good walks for the dog starting on the doorstep, however parts of the footpaths had been blocked by the farmers either ploughing the pathway or by cattle in the field, so a few detours required here. My only dislike was the considerable amount of chipped crockery and glassware.

The cottage was nice and reasonably well equipped, however the photos don't show how tight vehicular access and parking is, also it would have been nice to have been greeted by someone to let us in and explain how the needlessly complicated lighting system worked. Having said that it was warm and comfortable and very peaceful.
