"We really enjoyed our stay in Lamoura. The property is beautifully decorated and well appointed and there was a lot to do in the area, including running, cycling and swimming. The large garage was invaluable on rainy days for entertaining the kids and drying washing. My only gripe was the lack of transparency about linen hire, cleaning charges and the need for a 500 euro deposit, neither of which were mentioned in the listing, meaning I didn't bring a cheque book and had to sort it all out...

"Great cozy cabin with all the ammenities. Fireplace more than enough to to heat the entire place for the day. Great closed years for pets and plenty of parking. Nearby store has the basics, St Claude a short car ride for anything else. Children's play area across the street. Would recommend to anyone looking to get outside the city and enjoy the mountains."

"Our stay was more than perfect! The property owner was amazing and made us feel right at home. We are a family of three and felt like we fit just fine. The hospitality from the property owner was out of this world and we could not have imagined staying with anyone else. This property sits back on a beautiful mountain ridge with easy access to shops and restaurants on foot. Pictures do not do the view justice. This will not be the last time we stay, for sure!"

"La cabane est magnifique avec tous les équipement necessaire et il y a un meme un (vrai) jacuzzi sur la terrasse. L emplacement est ideal et au calme. Les propriétaires sont tres sympas et aux petits soins pour nous. Nous avons pris le petit dejeuner en supplément qui etait tres copieux. Je recommande fortemznt la cabane perchée de Solène et Francis"

"Wir waren im August da und die Temperatur war angenehm. Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Jedes Zimmer hat eine gut funktionierende Heizung (abends wird es manchmal kühl). Leider hat das Bad und das Kinderzimmer kein Fenster aber wenn man die Türen zum lüften auflässt ist es kein Problem. Anders als auf dem Foto liegt vor dem Haus ein dicker großer Kunstrasen und es gibt Klappstühle mit Auflagen und einen Tisch aus Holz. Sehr schön zum draussen essen. Ringsherum viel...

"C etait super. Chalet magnifique. Exactement ce que j aime. Cependant la vue est obstruée par la forêt on voit trop peu le paysage à mon goût. Et surtout nous n avons apprécié les bruits des tondeuses, débroussailleuses,et souffleuse pendant 3 h durant l apres midi. Meme vous avez fait l effort de ne pas tondre devant la location, on vous entend quand même beaucoup trop à 20 m de nous. J etait sur le Transat et le bruit m agacait terriblement pendant 3h..."

"Beau chalet bien situé entre Annecy et Genève avec superbe vue depuis la salle et son balcon. Chalet très bien équipé à proximité de tous commerces bien pratique pas besoin de parcourir des kilomètres ! Malheureusement pour nous le temps peu propice ne nous a pas permis de profiter de l'extérieur et de la cuisine d'été. Bon séjour malgré tout !"

"Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."
