Osprey Nest Cabin: Cozy private mountain cabin on the Wenatchee River

A Cozy Riverside Cabin on the bank of the Wenatchee River. The Osprey Nest is a rustic cedar sided cabin -- inside it has an airy open plan with high ceilings and a wall of windows and glass doors that open onto a deck with hot tub overlooking the beautiful Wenatchee River.
The cabin is accessible in all seasons, it’s beautiful in the snow and we have the driveway professionally plowed regularly.
Please note that our listed nightly rate includes professional cabin cleaning, there is no additional fee.

The cabin has two open loft bedrooms accessed by a 'ladder' stairway that can be lifted out of the way when not needed. Dogs and small children or anyone not comfortable navigating a 'ladder' stairway are not recommended/able to go up the stairs at this cabin. Please see photos as there are several photos of the stairway included.

The river side loft has a Queen bed -- the woods side loft has a Queen bed and a sitting area.
*Please note the open lofts have privacy curtains but not walls and doors, this makes the cabin best for smaller groups or a single family stay. (4 people maximum, best for 2 or a single family)

The Osprey Nest offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, large bathtub with shower in the bathroom and a wood stove with glass doors in the living area. The living area has a large TV with cable and Blue Ray DVD player. The cabin is equipped with free Wi-Fi internet access.
Back deck with 4 person professionally maintained hot tub overlooking the Wenatchee River.

From Stevens Pass to Wenatchee you will find your favorite activities.
Our location offers access to everything, whether you're golfing, fishing or rafting on the Wenatchee River, hiking in the Alpine Wilderness Area of the Cascades, rock climbing near Leavenworth, or enjoying a scenic wine tour, you are sure to create wonderful memories. You can wind surf or swim in the clear mountain water of the Wenatchee River or Lake Wenatchee. The Wenatchee River at the cabins location is closed to fishing, but very nearby is Fish Lake which is an Alpine Lake stocked with trout and a great way to spend an afternoon.
In the summer you'll find fruit stands and orchard tours, biking and hiking abound as well. In winter enjoy cross country skiing, downhill skiing, take a sleigh ride or head out into the high country on a snowmobile excursion. Stevens Pass is a 40 minute drive from the cabin as is Downtown Leavenworth via the Chumstick HWY the cabins location in the middle means there is something for the entire family to enjoy at any time of year!

Relaxing, quiet September visit
No other cabins in view - lovely! Quiet river, excellent stairway to bedrooms located upstairs, very good roads between cabin and nearby towns, lakes, etc. Good WIFI and cellphone (Tracfone). Landline didn't have a dial tone.

ABSOLUTELY WONDER STAY AT THE OSPREY NEST!
We had such a wonderful stay! Everything was just perfect. Its a very unique property. Secluded, quiet, so peaceful and a great spot right on the river. The cabin is so beautiful. It's very comfortable, clean, well laid out and has everything for an enjoyable stay. The host was so great in communicating with us. Thank you so much! Definitely coming back!

Everything was very nice. I am very pleased. A couple of things I would share. 1- The cable to secure the hot tub is not long enough to lock it. 2- Check your dryer. It is either got issues or I was not smart enough to run it. 3- There was no coffee. I have traveled to Leavenworth every year for 20 years in a row. This iss the first time I stayed at a house that did not furnish coffee. We bought our own - we lived - it was not a big issue.

Perfect Riverside Getaway
Osprey Nest Cabin was just what we needed for the weekend--cozy and clean, with a peaceful river running alongside. We made good use of the nice kitchen for our dinners, and the beds were very comfortable. It was also the perfect staging area to go make a trip to downtown Leavenworth during the day. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Stay at The Nest
The Nest is one of our favorite places to stay. No neighbors as it's on a private road. Loved that!!! The river view from the deck is so relaxing to watch. Birds galore!! Shannon is an amazing host she replies quickly to our questions and her place is stocked with many great amenities.

Beautiful little cabin
Our little family had a great weekend in this little cabin. Beautiful views right on the water. We played some of the games provided and enjoyed cooking some of our meals. Plenty of blankets to cuddle up in to watch the snow and river while reading.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for us
My girlfriend, dog, and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect. Far away from the neighboring properties to give you a sense of privacy and close enough to Leavenworth for a nice trip to town. The property was easy to get to. Our prius handled it just fine. Delightful mountain get-away
My daughter and I loved the complete coziness, clean, and relaxing feeling of the place. It had everything you needed. We played games, laughed, listened to the creek at night, and went skiing at Steven's Pass, and visited Leavenworth on our way home. . Will definitely stay at this place again!

Great hideaway!
Away from the beaten path, immediately on the river, and cute as could be. The overall experience overshadowed the paltry inconvenience of the bedrooms being upstairs and the bath downstairs, the TV being hard to navigate, and the low water pressure. Those are the only negatives I could find, and the positives are so ridiculously good that this was a definite 5-star experience. Great place!

I don’t think you can find a better view! You wake up each morning overlooking the creek and mountains. The cabin is the perfect size for a family of 4 and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was amazing at communicating with you and making sure we had everything we needed to make this a memorable trip! If ever we come back to Washington we will definitely book here again!
