"We had a great getaway here. It's a well setup comfortable home. Everything was stocked and had easy communication with owners. The size and depth of the pool was awesome. We had some warm days to cool off with a dip. We enjoyed seeing wildlife; fish in a stock tank, lots of birds, a turkey, and deer."

"Rented this property for Memorial Day weekend to be within easy drive or Pedernales State Park, Balcones Wildlife Refuge and the local wineries in the area. As the review title states....this experience was a mixed bag. I can't say there was good and bad, rather there was good and somewhat frustrating......but not bad. The Good: Property is definitely unique. Very clever setup and we didn't feel cramped being just the two of us and two small dogs Appliances are new and the hotplate and toaster...

"Spent a weekend with some friends at the property. They were already excited about the house based on the listing, but everybody – literally everyone – was blown away when they saw it in person. Beautiful views, great amenities and helpful recommendations for, e.g., where to get food. I don’t know when I’ll be in the area again, but if I am, this will be the first place I look up!"

"Overall it was a good experience despite the cold weather. Thankful the house had multiple games such as pool, ping pong, shuffleboard table, and pickleball to help keep us occupied. Jackie is a great host and easy to communicate with. "

"The Barndominium was super clean, has a nice and well-stocked kitchen, and was comfortable. The neighborhood is eclectic as described in the details. The tv stations didn’t always stream well but that was minor. We had a relaxing stay while visiting our family and would recommend the place is you want something a bit out of the way and different. I gave one star less because the pool was also advertised as a hot tub but the instructions for heating it up are more than a hot tub and the cover...

They had no trouble following the directions and instructions sent over and have continued to thank us for the relaxing, peaceful time they had in the townhouse.Thet spent lots of time out on the balcony, but also enjoyed the on-site restaurant.
