"The owner was very nice. We couldn't find the place and we were driving around town. Finally, we asked a restaurant. The restaurant owner called the hotel owner and instead of explaining the direction over the phone, the hotel owner picked us up. What a service!"

"Miguel was super nice to meet us at the villa for check in. He explained how to use everything in the house and even talked to the private chef we booked for a house dinner one night, which was really helpful. He was also very responsive when we had questions during the stay. The villa was the perfect place to celebrate our marriage and house our family for a few days. The villa had everything you could think of and we were very impressed with the kitchen. The views are absolutely incredible,...

"We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. The air con was very welcome in the sticky July...

"The staff was well above excellent. I am planning on staying there when I return to visit in the fall of 2025. This time with my family in tow. If you want a quiet hotel near all the coastal towns and Gernika, I highly recomeend it."
