Located in the desirable Gilded Mountain Community near Deadwood, South Dakota, this 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath cabin offers the perfect space for groups and families of all sizes to enjoy their trip to the Black Hills. The large covered deck wraps around 3 sides of the cabin, offering breathtaking views of the Black Hills, complete with a gas BBQ grill, and outdoor wood fireplace. It’s the ideal spot to relax, entertain while enjoying the views, watch the wildlife or sit and enjoy your morning cup of coffee!  Just outside the patio doors on the lower level is where you can enjoy a long soak in the hot tub after a day of skiing or hiking.

Main Level Highlights
Open Concept Living Space: The main floor boasts a fully equipped kitchen, with a gas stove, perfect for family meals, and a cozy living room with a plenty of seating, wood fireplace, flat screen TV, and large picture windows perfect for taking in the scenery. Lounge in the hammock and read a book. For dining, there is a dining room table with seating for 8, as well as 5 stools at the breakfast bar.
Outdoor Living Space: If you are ready to take in the breathtaking mountain views, you can access the deck from multiple places on the main floor. On the deck there is a gas grill, an outdoor wood fireplace, and plenty of seating.

Friends trip
Perfect communication, easy check in, spacious bedrooms and living areas. Could not have asked for a better cabin for a friends getaway. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the clubhouse!

Very good impression of the property. It had very good curb appeal, the layout of the house was perfect for our stay. Liked the deck/fireplace sitting area the most, and the open concept of the living space.

The property was cozy and decorated for the holidays. There was lots of space, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Good options for kitchen tools and such. Plenty of dishes and silverware for 14 people. Amenities offered were exactly what was listed. Wonderful experience!

Lovely, cozy, well appointed home! Loved the decor, outdoor fireplace, beds, hot tub, ping pong table, club house with amazing pool. Just an amazing place to spend time. The home ended up being much of the vacation due to weather, and it was perfect. Would absolutely stay again.

The Ore Car is a wonderful home with a great porch and space to allow for gathering as well as time spent with a book away from others. The communication was efficient and appropriate. We will stay here again.

Lots of room for all 5 couples!
We had a wonderful friends-reunion at this spacious home. Lots of room for everyone to spread out, and the outside seating around the fireplace (we did not use the fireplace) was a great place to hang out in the late afternoon. There are other houses nearby, and during our last night a neighboring group was noisy in the early am hours (2-3am), but otherwise everyone seemed respective of their neighbors. Lots to see and do in the area!

Very clean and spacious. Great supplies on hand. Good layout for having groups on main floor (us), upstairs (older or maybe parents with younger kids), and downstairs (noisy young adults lol). Bring some firewood with you as you will love the outdoor fireplace. Cabs from cabin to downtown Deadwood ran $35 for group of 6 adults and $25 for 2 one way. Have cash for cabs. Overall great property!

Amazing Home
This house was just perfect for what we needed. It was a girls weekend with 12 of us. The house is beautiful, the neighborhood is beautiful and there was enough bed space for all. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio/fireplace. We spent one whole afternoon out there. The house is well stock with cooking necessities, towels, etc. We loved it and will probably be back. The distance to Deadwood isn’t bad either. About 10 minutes.

Beautiful home that is not properly maintained
Beautiful home that is not properly maintained. At check in: we had to scoop to get to cabin door. Keyless entry did not work with code given. It was opened remotely and the same code was given, which did not work. House appeared clean, but we discovered beddings and blankets that were not clean. Kitchen small appliances didn’t work. Deck boards had holes in them. Sliding glass door didn’t lock in the basement. Gas fireplace appears to have been put out with a fire extinguisher. Very hard to figure out how it worked. Remote controls need batteries. Had to search the house for lightbulbs to replace burnt out bulbs. Appeared to have septic issues once the snow melted. Reported this to property managers. If I owned this home, I would take a good look at all of these gaps in care. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin
The cabin was beautiful with a wonderful layout for family. When we arrived the cabin was completely out of fire wood so I contacted the after hours and they promptly replied and found a solution. The fireplace on the deck was the best part of every night, so convenient and easy to use. Only small things could make this place a five star like nice bath towels and kitchen supplies (no blender, overused tefal cookware, no tinfoil, no napkins, enough forks). Would stay there again and recommend to anyone else.

Unique large house in a neighborhood of neat houses
In a development of unique houses this large house was comfortable in its appointments. Nice grill, wonderful fireplace setting outside, hot tub and 5 rooms was a great meeting place for a family gathering. Close to the community center with a pool and game room, it seems to be in development used a fair amount for other bnb's. Nice kitchen to cook in, with a good amount of cooking equipment, make sure you bring everything else though.

Slightly Disappointing
The property is beautiful, in a lovely neighborhood, and the host was very responsive when I asked a couple questions prior to arriving and on the day of our stay. We were quite disappointed to find the home rather unkempt with dirty carpets with visible pieces of food/crumbs, a broken chair in the living room, garbage tucked under the couch, a broken garbage disposal and dishwasher (that we fixed) and thick dust in various places around the house. The upstairs bedrooms were so warm, even with the air conditioner running. The most unpleasant of all was the basement, which was almost completely unusable for us as it was so allergenic. The bedrooms all smelled of very strong air freshener/heavily scented laundry detergent. We spent our first day giving the house a good cleaning and washing all the sheets and towels so we could feel comfortable staying there. This was very unfortunate for a home this beautiful and of this price range. With COVID, we chalked it up to understaffing as well as the neighborhood seeming to be almost exclusively vacation rentals managed by the same company. Overall, our stay was acceptable and we enjoyed the area and the homes proximity to many activities.

This property is beautiful! Our family had a great time here. The one thing I did not like was the lack of cleanliness of the washer. So we just saved dirty clothing until we got home. Otherwise everything was in good working order and clean! The rooms are spacious, pictures are accurate! The welcome booklet and cookie was lovely. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway - Beautiful Area
Our party of 10 traveled 6 hours to South Dakota and were excited about arriving at this cabin to enjoy a relaxing evening meal. As we entered this beautiful rustic property we were extremely disappointed at the initial presentation of the cabin. Several family members spent our evening time cleaning. We notified the manager about the unclean conditions along with repairs needed inside and out (broken bathroom doorknob and hole in the deck floor) which were taken care of the next day. At this time of COVID when extra cleaning is recommended and we were traveling with a medically compromised family member, it was extremely disappointing that we encountered surfaces that were sticky/glass rings, fridge that was dirty, grill with residue grease, popcorn/chips on the deck rug and chairs, food in the dishwasher, etc. After this initial disappointment and hours of us cleaning, we did enjoy this beautiful property and especially the deck with an outdoor fireplace.
