Spent a week reconnecting with this beautiful region and delighted to have found such a perfect base to enjoy the bassin d'arcachon. Very well equipped with lots of information relating to the area. Very peaceful location yet walking distance to the bassin. Perfect welcome from Mr & Mme Saint Marc and will not hesitate...

"We had a great stay at this property and the host made us welcome when we arrived. It was as described in the listing and we even got the wifi working well in the end. The pool area was amazing. The house and utensils could have been cleaner but nothing that particularly affected our stay there. It wasnt great that we had to make our own beds, especially when we only found this out as we went to bed and that we had to hunt around for the duvets (in the wardrobes) and the bedding ( in a basket...

"We had an enjoyable stay and host was accomodating when we asked for the pool to be heated although it was not clear it wasn't heated all year round. House was clean and bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. All in all our second trip to Bordeaux and it was thoroughly enjoyable!"

"We have rented in Arcachon many times and always enjoyed - this was no different. A lovely property as advertised and the two bikes were a great advantage. As we were there during extremely high temperatures the availability of a fan in the property would have been an additional bonus. We would definitely rent again and recommend to others. Thank you"

"Sehr schönes Häuschen, perfekt ausgestattet, genug Platz für uns 5. Sehr angenehme, nette und unkomplizierte Vermieterin, alles hat gestimmt, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Schwimmbecken im Ort kam bei den Kindern gut an für die Erfrischung zwischendurch, die Fahrt zum Atlantikstrand dauert etwas länger, das ist aber vollkommen OK. Im Ort mehrere Bäcker, kleiner Supermarkt und Aldi, einige nette Bistros/Restaurants. Und Austern am Hafen. Nur die Betten dürften etwas härter sein :-) Wir haben...

"Un havre de paix où déconnecter en un instant grâce à la vue magnifique et apaisante. Au bord de l’eau, le long du sentier du littoral, cette magnifique maison en bois surplombe le bassin. La décoration y est charmante, la piscine et les terrasses très agréables. A noter que les lits doubles sont étroits et qu’il faut prévoir un spray anti moustiques pour les soirées"

"Problèmes d’humidité, très fortes odeurs, moisissures sur le mobilier, cafards - tout cela s’ajoutant a un manque d’entretien general (trampoline rouillé et en mauvais etat, hamac vert de mousse, tables branlantes…). Vacances gâchées par manque de serieux du propriétaire qui ne verifie pas l’etat du logement avant la location (remise des clés par les voisines, aucun etat des lieux)"
