"When we checked in they said the AC was broken and was going to be fixed the next day. But it wasn't. At least they gave us a fan to use in the room and free breakfast. "

"We booked Hotel Face West at the last minute as it is close to the motorway and stayed 2 nights. The room was compact, but very clean and comfortable We found a number of eateries down the street and found one where all the other customers were locals. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were good value."

"Good night stop if travel via A7 as the hotel is located just a couple of minutes from the exit. Good commercial area with loads of shops and cheap auchan petrol station to refill. The good part of the stay was the secured car park at the back and the air conditioning working during summer heatwave. Everything else it’s pretty bad, but when paying £50 can’t really expect a lot."

"The problem was at checkin. I arrived after 8:30pm so there were no staff, the checkin machine required a physical card which I had not brought with me (I was cycle touring). I tried the emergency button but the person who answer was all “nothing I can do”. I slept in the lobby until 2am when an irritated staff member woke me and after some persuasion checked me into my room."

"Check in was advertised 2.00.p.m. was actually 5.00p.m. The hotel was closed between 12 pm and 5 pm so no access to swimming pool reception food or drink during afternoon. We did not stay as not what we expected at all."

"Wonderful Provençal cottage wonderfully hosted by Jean-Marc. The property is 7km from Avignon centre and has room for 3 spacious accommodations, maintained in Provençal style, and plentiful continental breakfast. There is a lovely pool on property also. Nothing is any trouble for Jean-Marc, who will give help and advice on local amenities and he encourages socialising amongst visitors, which adds to the experience. "We had a very comfortable stay and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, reminded me of an old French villa! Would definitely go back.."

"Amazing location and very comfortable, charming and well equipped. We booked last minute and were so happy to find it. Literally there isn't a better location. If younhave a car, 2 parking lots within a couple blocks either way. Be aware that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator (typical for the older buildings downtown). Will stay again next time we visit Annecy."

"Check was good and quick. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."
