"We had a wonderful time with our family, with time and possibility for great skiing in Villard. In the afternoon we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the sun. The house is great, and we had a very warm welcome. Cooking a meal together every night, making a fire to roast some marshmellows, nice kitchen, and lovely fire in the living. "Judith and Eric's chalet is perfect for a large family or like us, two smaller families sharing. The open plan living space on the first floor is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the stunning view. The chalet is located on a quiet residential street, a short walk (5-10 mins) from the centre of Chamrousse 1750 and all the amenities / ski lifts / ski school. "We enjoyed the private terrace looking out through the pine trees to the village below and beyond to the Vercors ridge. We walked from the chalet up to the ridge and other great walks just a short drive away. We saw lots of interesting flowers in the area (11 species of orchids, gentians and fantastic alpine flowers), as well as marmots, ibex and alpine birds. We ate every breakfast and supper on the terrace, enjoying the morning sun and the evening shade with setting sun lighting the far side...
