"The staff were helpful and the facilities were good at the property, ski in ski out, raclette to hire also thank you so much to the ladies and Charles at the other Azureva (Les confin) for sorting out our ski hire and making renting very smooth for us, great attention to detail. "The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Chalets de Joy this year. The property is new, immaculately clean and spacious apartments. We love that the residence has the facilities of a modern alpine hotel, with the space and convenience of your own apartment. For winter ski lift access however, it is a 5 minute walk down a relatively steep hill with your ski equipment. We decided to drive down to the gondola instead, which was a little disappointing as we were not expecting this. "

"Being that my stay was in June, it was very difficult to find transport to and from without my own car. Limited front desk hours (ability to check in) also made this more difficult to coordinate. The beds/pillows were not comfortable, BUT, the space was excellent. I was there to hike and enjoy the scenery and I did. I'd recommend being there in July/August if you want more people and stores open, or as I was told, in winter, when there is a free shuttle going to other villages. Overall, I loved...
