We heard it gets very busy during the summer months so if you want to avoid the crowds, early November was a perfect time. Not too cold and all the shops and restaurants were still open.

"Lovely property, spacious studio appartment that is well placed for city and port. Had a lovely shower and my daughter appreciated the half bath too. The sofa bed wasnt the most comfortable but as we were only there for one night it was manageable."

"What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. ..."

Be prepared to transport luggage up narrow stone steps as this unique medieval property has no elevators. Arrive late afternoon, miss crowds & leave before 11:00am avoid crowds. Lots of uphill stairs for full visit to the Abbey
