HOTEL LE SHERMAN
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"Property manager/owner was attentive and communicative. The room was clean and well-appointed. Close to Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, it is within walking distance for most, though there is not a defined sidewalk/path, so care must be taken if this is your mode. There is an attached cafe for lunch and the food is acceptable. There is a museum within walking distance, too. OF IMPORTANCE, and nothing to do with the property. Taxi service is available from the train stations that...

"A fabulous base to explore the area with the D Day Beaches and War Graves all close by. With an excellent location in the countryside set on a farm. Great facilities in the gite. Only one minute gripe no Uk tv, otherwise a fantastic property and a great holiday."

GITE: LARGE HOLIDAY HOUSE IN THE COUNTRY WITH BILLIARD, LARGE LIVING ROOM
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (128)
"We enjoyed the relaxing location just outside Le Molay Littry. It's 50mins from Caen in countryside like Cornwall, but without the people! We weren't aware it's right next to a cow farm but they weren't a bother, but there are a lot of flies, which we got used to. The house is a little sparsely furnished but spacious. The bedrooms could do with a chest of drawers each and there's room for them. Downstairs is a bit minimalist too. Some soft furnishings would break up the noise a bit. The town...

Adonis Grandcamp - Les Isles de Sola
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (424)
"Good base for the D-Day beaches, etc. Room clean and tidy, with a decent bathroom and shower. Breakfast, it was good. Pool is not huge, but did the trick, as we only stayed for one night. I'd probably go to Capfun next door if staying longer, as it looked good too and had more facilities.for the kids."
