"We booked this particular property because the property offered on the website a sauna, hot tub, coffee lounge, bar, restaurant but we found ourselves having to go out for a meal because the restaurant was only open on a Wednesday and after a long drive this was not what we expected to do. The sauna & hot tub were an additional charge 20€ for 30 mins. the other facilities were not up and running. We felt we had booked this stay under false pretences. I contacted Hotels.com and they assured me...

"The hotel is hard to locate - in one direction there is no sign outside. One found it is a very tranquil environment with ample outside seating. Not within walking distance of restaurants."

"La Bastide is a great Provençal hotel in an amazing and quiet area. The place is surrounded by trees, vineyard, a farm and piece of arts. Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. Within the vineyard, you have two restaurants, check Jeanette a gastronomy restaurant with great food and the Bistrou Lou for more casual food. Both restaurants are great and in a great location. "We were very disappointed. We we riding our bikes on a tour of the region, and arrived before 5pm. The manager did not look happy to see us, and made us feel uncomfortable that we came early. He did give us a room though. There are no easy dining options within walking distance, except for a crepe place with a very limited menu. Finally, we were told that breakfast was not before 8am. Upon arriving at 8am, the breakfast room was locked, but we could see that people had already had their...
