"The location is quiet and peaceful, and the accommodation was very clean with good attention to detail. During our summer stay, the room became quite warm, though opening the windows at night helped. While we didn’t feel particularly welcomed by the owner, which may have been due to cultural differences, it didn’t overshadow the positives. Be aware that the parking area is very steep. Overall, we would still recommend staying here."

"Very nice bed and breakfast. The house is newly renovated and everything is working fine. The Owner was extremely nice and helpful. She can even organize a dinner if you are not able to go to a restaurant 4km away. Very quiet and rural place. If you like cats even better."

"A beautiful, quiet and charming guest room in the loveliest of setting. Not far from Albi about 1.5km from the main road, down a rural side road, Hameau de Taur is a wonderful place to stay. Even though communication was difficult because our French is not good and our hostess had no English we had a most pleasant stay. Breakfast was included and was easily the best breakfast we have had in France, crepes, coffee, juice and apple tart. Highly recommend you stay here if you are passing through...

"We had a lovely time. Genevieve and Pierre were great hosts providing us with a very bespoke breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and their rural property is beautiful and the product of years of devoted restoration. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Highly recommended!"
