Aside from the chalet itself the fantastic host should be acknowledged, both from a communications perspective and also for equipping the chalet so well (with all the little things that most lack e.g tea, coffee, salt , pepper , bin bags etc). "Excellent location in Morzine with lots of space and facilities. Good value for money. That said there are a few small things which could improve the chalet. The baby stair gate was broken however it was not a problem as we kept the door shut to the bedrooms. There are several light bulbs which need replacing. The general cleanliness was ok however we found two used plasters in one of the wardrobes and the shower sealants on all the showers could be deep cleaned. The paint finish on the...

"We stayed here for a week during the first week of July and had a wonderful time in this beautiful secluded chatel set in the mountains above Morzine. This was our 4th trip to the area in summertime but our first time that we hadn't stayed in an apartment. We decided to push the boat out a little this time and it was well worth it. "A large and comfortable chalet that made a good base for four adults and two children. The three bathrooms and toilets were very useful. The chalet is very well equipped with everything we needed for the week. Lovely veranda with large garden table for dining outside and just sitting to admire the views. The chalet is not within walking distance of the town but is only a 5 minute drive. Parking at the premises is ample, safe and secure. The owner is very friendly and helpful, always replying...

"Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. Ces 14 jours en juillet nous ont ressourcés et le temps de plus était vraiment très beau. Le soir la température tombe vers les 20 degrés ce qui permet de passer des nuits agréables. Il y a pas de nuisance sonore. Nous remercions...

"Although there was little snow this New Year, we were very happy as we had such a wonderful chalet in which to spend our holiday. Thank you Jonathan as you were a wonderful host. Chalet was spacious and very comfortable and many house spent in the hot tub to make up for the lack of snow."

"Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Voor de bus naar Pre la Joux moet je een klein stukje omhoog lopen, is op een paar minuten loopafstand. Het centrum kun je lopend bereiken, ongeveer 20 minuten. We zouden het huis zeker aanraden!"

"Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Julien et nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce chalet magnifiquement décoré tout en bois et pierre avec une superbe vue et à l ecart du monde ! Très bien situé, il est à quelques minutes du sommet où nous pouvions admirer le panorama à 360' et avec vue sur le Mont Blanc ! De retour le soir, nous avons apprécié les parties de billard au coin du feu de la cheminée qu on nous avait gentiment préparée. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !"

"Hotel and service was excellent. Stayed for two nights and had a noisy party in the room in the late evening next to us the first night. When we reported the incident to the hotel, they took care of it and was very apologetic and responsive in following up with us.Overall, a very nice stay"

Excellent stay at Mona Hotel

"We loved our stay at Hotel Mona. I highly recommend to book a room with Lakeview, amazing view of lake Geneva. Our room was spacious, it had an included mini bar at no extra charge, chocolates and wine. Breakfast buffet was very good and has plenty of options, including omelette station. There's always coffee, tea, water and juice at the lobby free of charge and in the evening they bring out a Pop corn machine and candy. It also has a Jacuzzi, outdoor seating by the lake. There's laundry facilities free of charge, just ask at the reception for the key, the laundry room also has the ice maker machine and a microwave. The hotel's location couldn't be better, 5 minutes from the train station, 1 minute to the tram stop, the Freddy Mercury statue is less than 10 minutes walk by the lake, and shopping and restaurants close by. Customer service was excellent; we hope to come back to Mona Hotel."
