"Property was clean and tidy. Very nice situation in the countryside near a forest. Had a fantastic break. Great little pool and loverly hot tub made hot days and evenings very relaxing and great fun. Beautiful cottage in loverly gardens with everything on hand for a fantastic getaway. We used as a base and travelled to Tours,, Le Mans. Alençon and other local spots. The host Bruno was great and could not be more helpful if he tried which made our break all the more relaxing as we new he was on...

"Nous rentrons ravis de notre séjour à la Garenne. Le soleil fut de la partie mais nous avons été conquis par le cadre verdoyant (grand et beau jardin dont notre avons bien profité), le gîte spacieux et confortable.... Et l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour enchanter petits et grands et laisser à chacun de jolis souvenirs !"

"This lovely cottage was my home for a month and I was extremely sad to say goodbye on my last day. It remained cool in the extreme heat of July and had everything I could possible need to live for a month. Jacques was an amazing host, providing many little extra touches that i have rarely experienced in other 'rent by owner' situations. His ability to speak English was a bonus as he helped me out of a few language barrier situations. Highly recommend this location."

"Je moet beschikken over een rijbewijs want alles wat enigszins interessant is ligt op ca. 1 uur rijden vanaf deze locatie. Er is verder weinig te beleven. Verder is het een prima huisje maar met erg veel wespen omdat het vuil inleverpunt 50 meter bij het huis vandaan is. Voor ons was het dus niet hetgeen we ervan gehoopt hadden maar daar kan de verhuurder verder niets aan doen."

"This lovely property is off the beaten path just outside of the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne. The house is as it looks and has ample space for 12 people. The owners are absolutely lovely and on hand to answer any questions and recommend local excursions. Lovely Belleme is just a 15 minute drive away for shopping and strolling. "Je tiens à souligner et remercier la flexibilité de Marine qui gère la location. Elle a toujours répondu à mes questions, nous avons pu arriver tranquillement et pas de pression pour le départ. C’est un réel atout. Et aussi la Grange est exceptionnelle. Elle permet de passer du temps dehors même si la météo n’est pas au rendez-vous ! Juste prenez en compte que la maison est partagé avec un studio à côté. Nous avons eu des voisins adorables mais cette information est a prendre en compte je pense...

"Nous avons réservé la maison pour un anniversaire et tout était parfait. La maison est spacieuse et très bien équipée, le cadre est top et la propriétaire est très réactive en cas de besoin. Nous avons passé un super week-end !"

"Not luxurious, but perfectly good for a one night business stay. Tucked away in a industrial/retail estate. Room was in a delegate block to the reception and breakfast room. Good continental breakfast offering. Would stay again. "

"Ideal location to break your journey from southern France to the ports in northern France. Stayed a number of times & found the hotel as described, easy to find, ample parking, well located; near major road links, petrol stations & restaurants. Breakfast is nice too. Even has a larger pump behind reception! "

"Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost"

"I reserved this room because Expedia lists it as having AC. We stayed in Sept and there was no AC. Were told by the desk they turn it off in the fall. Expedia needs to specify this hotel may not have AC depending on the whim of the owner. Windows open with rain, bad weather, traffic and no bug screens. Pass on to another hotel with accurate description. "

Perche farmhouse

"House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."
