The Eagles Nest on the Mississippi River

The Eagles Nest is a contemporary and newly remodeled home located across from the Mississippi River and just a short drive from the downtown of LeClaire, Iowa. This beautifully decorated home is spacious and homey all at the same time. This home is directly across from the Mississippi River and boasts some of best opportunities to see bald eagles, primarily in the winter months. This 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home is bright and cheery with natural light in every room. Your group will have multiple living spaces for watching tv, reading a book, or playing a competitive game of shuffleboard or Boss Toss. The main living room has a pair of sliding glass doors to allow you to sit outside and view the Mississippi River. Just a few steps up from the main living area you will find the hallway with three of the bedrooms. The master bedroom is at the end of the hall and has a king bed, deck to sit outside, and an ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and shower. Down the hall you will find two additional bedrooms with queen beds and a hall bath to share. The fourth bedroom is in the lower level along with a family room and full bath. All bedrooms have their own tv. The lower level family room and bedroom provide additional views of the Mississippi River. Everyone will have fun in this area as it will offer hours of entertainment playing shuffleboard, BossToss or watching a movie on the big screen tv.

Just a mile east of the Eagles Nest is the popular downtown of LeClaire. The downtown of LeClaire offers restaurants, shopping, Mississippi River Distillery, wineries, brewery, the famous Antique Archeology and even a ride on the Riverboat Twilight. To the west of the Eagles Nest you will find additional restaurants, Pebble Creek Golf Course and additional breweries.

We were at a basketball tournament and stayed at this adorable house. The owner was extremely sweet and answered all of our questions. Once we got to the house I was amazed at how roomy and clean the house is. The owner thought of everything! Lots of space and very well kept we would definitely stay here again!

Our daughter had her wedding reception at Davenport County Club which is 6 minutes away from this property. The property was absolutely perfect! It is a great location and we could get to all our destinations easily. The interior was decorated professionally and provided enough space for 8 adults comfortably. Came there with my boys!(dad,nephew,husband and son) Came out there to watch the World series of drag racing in Cordova draway. The house was absolutely beautiful and not a bad drive from the track. Plenty of space for all of us to space out and relax after the long hot day.

This is a large home with lots of room for people to spread out. Very clean and well stocked - we had everything we needed. Balconies were great for sitting and watching the river and reading a good book. The host is awesome and very responsive and LeClaire is a fun little town. Most highly recommended!!

Wonderful Home
We had a group of 8 adults and we had plenty of room for everyone. Bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. The only bad part of the stay is the traffic noise and the train at night. We were exhausted most nights so we still slept well even with the noise. We visited many breweries in the area and surrounding areas and enjoyed the scenic downtown LeClaire. Overall was a great stay and would recommend to others!

Fantastic Home !!
Rented this home to have family meet for Thanksgiving. Sheila went above and beyond to accommodate our large number of guests to be seated for dinner. The home truly is completely stocked with everything. The abundant seating available was ideal and the large screen TVs were appreciated for watching movies and sports. My entire family raved about this home. We will definitely book with Sheila again.

Perfect home for multiple or large families. Plenty of little nooks and spaces to allow some guests to gather and other guests to have quiet time. Fabulous rec room and outdoor patio/fire pit that are perfect for entertaining. Decor is very calm and tasteful- love the little touches that make this space feel homey. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Close proximity to Quad Cities and easy access to I80. Owner was very pleasant and responsive. We absolutely loved staying here.

Very roomy! Clean!
This house has a lot of space. It has four big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! It is 4 levels, with a living area (couch, chairs, and TV) on three levels!! Plus a TV in every room. Wheel chair accessible from the garage and it leads to living room/game room with a bedroom and bathroom on that level. The wheel chair could not go up to the kitchen. Wonderful house and a wonderful host. Highly recommended!!
