The pool was gorgeous and a welcome relief during the heatwave experienced in the area while we were staying. "Before arrival, we passed this place and thought our sat nav was wrong but, this place is so well hidden and camouflaged into the landscape, you would miss it totally. Its in between the River Dordogne and the River Lot (which is prestine!) The accommodation was lovely and clean and just what was ordered for a relaxing family holiday. "We returned here after first visiting the lodge last year. The property was in just as good a condition as it was when we last came and was immaculately clean. "For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
