"The area offers wide range of adventures. Caves, markets, shops, beautiful old villages, stunning scenery. The cottage was well equipped for most of our needs. We do have a few observations. The standing fans were great with the hot weather but the small fan didn't work making one room without window coverings extra warm. A full length mirror would be a nice addition. The downstairs shower was slow to drain. Overall it was the trip of a lifetime and we would not hesitate to recommend"

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"The old station is a charming property, full of nostalgia yet thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the property owners, Gilles and Caroline, very friendly and helpful. The surrounding countryside is, of course, wonderful and being able to hop on the train outside your front door and visit Perigueux, Bergerac etc. was an added bonus.
