Wonderful Easter Weekend in Le Beaucet

We spent a long weekend and Mr. Chevaux's property in Le Beaucet and had a lovely time. Our group was composted of nine adults and five children and we were very comfortable in the house, plenty of space for everyone both inside and out. The house was clean and well organised with a classic French style. The area around the property is very private and secluded and the region is naturally beautiful with walking trails and ancient ruins to visit. Mr. Chevaux was an excellent host and we would be very happy to visit the Mas des Falaises again.

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans la belle propriété de Mr Chevaux. On a passé des moments inoubliables autour de la belle piscine. Mr Chevaux est un charmant hôte très discret mais disponible. La maison est très grande et permet à une famille de 13 personnes de vivre agréablement. La région est belle et invite à des balades à pied ou en vélo

Un endroit magnifique

Il s'agissait pour nous d'une réunion de famille: 15 personnes dont 7 enfants. Le gîte était amplement dimensionné pour notre nombre. Il est très bien équipé, décoré avec goût et originalité; il est situé dans un cadre magnifique, s'agissant aussi bien du jardin et de la piscine (malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu assez chaud pour en profiter vraiment), que de la vallée dans laquelle il est blotti. M Chevaux, le propriétaire a été très agréable, aimable et discret; il avait obligeamment réparti les lits à notre gout dans les nombreuses pièces de la maison. Notre séjour aura été pour nous un moment inoubliable: nous recommandons vivement "le Mas des Falaises"

Propriété pleine de charme au milieu de la nature et avec vue incroyable sur des falaises

Le bâtiment principal est construit en pierre du pays et décoré avec beaucoup de goût et soins. La literie est très confortable. La piscine à débordement avec vue sur les falaises est à couper le souffle. Le jardin et la végétation très variée autour de la propriété sont extrêmement bien entretenus. Les différents "étages" du jardin apportent beaucoup de charme à celui-ci. Deux suggestions pour la terrasse afin de pouvoir lire, de façon plus agréable, un livre à l'ombre au bord de la piscine: - trouver un système pour ombrager la terrasse devant la piscine (avec des toiles, comme au dessus de la table extérieure?) - installer des transats "classiques" qui ne sont pas posés sur le sol et qui permettent de lire un livre plus confortablement. Nous sommes enchantés de ce séjour et conquis par la charme de ce lieu! Nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir et de le renseigner.

Cette endroit vous offrira un moment de calme et un bon break dans votre vie quotidienne, nous étions entre amis avec des bébés , très reposant , super coin piscine securisé , la maison offre tous ce qu’il faut et au pire le propriétaire est à 50 m ... balades accessibles en partant de la maison... parfait pour nous qui voulions du calme venant de Paris , et tant mieux car pas ou peu de réseau ....

Fabuleux week-end de trois jours au mois de septembre entre amis dans une magnifique propriété . le cadre est vraiment splendide. Chaque chambre avec salle de bain et WC privatifs reflète une atmosphère différente et conviviale. Grands volumes dans un mas typique provençal très bien équipé. très beau jardin avec sa piscine à débordement. Maison très bien entretenue. Très bonne literie. Un Grand merci à Henri, l’heureux propriétaire, pour sa disponibilité et ses conseils éclairés. Un seul regret : ne pas pouvoir y rester plus longtemps… Mais nous reviendrons.

Une maison tout confort

Avec une famille de 8 adultes, 5 enfants de 3 à 8 ans et un bébé de 8 mois, nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances cette semaine du 15 août 2019 !!! La maison est grande et particulièrement bien aménagée. Les 7 chambres étaient particulièrement agréables et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine est grande et propre, et la vue sur les falaises est pittoresque. Merci à Henri pour son accueil sans faille. Nous recommandons.

Nous avions loué cette maison pour un séjour regroupant des adultes célibataires et des couples avec enfants/bébé. Tout était parfait et la disposition de la maison se prête assez bien à des rythmes de vie différents. Seul bémol, par temps de pluie la maison peut être assez froide et humide. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles sans pour autant être omnipresents. Je recommande !!!

19 au 21 Mai 2018 Nous sommes 7 couples d'amis à nous être réunis dans un cadre enchanteur où la tranquillité et le silence règnent. Profitez en pour vous promener dans le village perché du Beaucet dont les ruelles et le château valent le détour. Henri et sa conjointe nous ont réservé un excellent accueil à notre arrivée et durant notre séjour, dans une très belle et grande maison décorée avec soin, très fonctionnelle, où nous avons rapidement pris nos marques. Chacune des 7 chambres (dont 2 studios) sont superbes. Profitez de la terrasse pour refaire l'épopée d'une ascension à vélo du Mont Ventoux tout proche, de l'appenti à barbecue pour anticiper les prémices de l'été, et de la piscine à débordement pour vous relaxer. Notre séjour sera inoubliable. Nous recommandons vivement. Denis

Un mas trés beau et original dans un cadre fabuleux.

Bonjour , Notre séjour chez vous a été très apprécié de tous et j'ai tenu à transmettre nos impressions à d'éventuels vacanciers. Ce lieu est d'une beauté à couper le souffle, comme le mistral sait si bien le faire ! Un mas dans une propriété rustique, aménagée en harmonie avec cette magnifique région qu'est le Luberon, mais néanmoins fonctionnelle. La belle piscine à débordement avec la falaise en face est telle qu'on la voit sur les photos. A l'intérieur, grâce à l'agencement des chambres, chacun a un espace indépendant où se retirer. Un peu plus de lumière dans les chambres et sanitaires serait bienvenu ! La cuisine, la salle à manger, le salon avec une grande cheminée sont un seul grand volume et représentent le coeur de la maison autour duquel se trouvent les chambres, ce qui rend cet espace très convivial. Ajoutons les livres, une chaîne hi fi, une grande variété de CD et tout est dit..... Tout ceci est le reflet du propriétaire qui a élaboré ce mas avec passion pour accueillir ses hôtes. Il vous le racontera, prenez le temps de l'écouter....."

wunderschönes Haus im Landhausstil

Wir, 4 Elternpaare um die 50 und ein paar halberwachsene Kinder, waren nun schon das 3. Mal in diesem herrlichen Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr detailverliebt in unterschiedlichen Stilrichtungen eingerichtet, dabei mit moderner Technik (super Küche, WLAN). Man kann toll drinnen und draußen an einer langen Tafel speisen. Der großzügig überdachte Grill dient auch als Unterstellplatz für die Fahrräder. Der Pool ist klasse mit seinem schattenspendenden Bäumchen und ist sehr gut gewartet . Der Vermieter ist äußerst hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich ohne je zu stören. Obwohl direkt unterhalb Le Beaucet gelegen, fühlt man sich frei, da die anderen Häuser nicht zu sehen sind. Ein wunderschöner großer Garten umgibt die Villa und man geniest einen tollen Blick über das Tal auf die gegenüberliegende Felswand. Es war auch kein Problem, daß einer von uns die Gitarre dabei hatte und wir die Songs der 70ger lauthals zum Besten gaben. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Café im Ort mit kleiner, leckerer Küche und deutscher Besitzerin. Bäckereien und kleine Läden für Obst und täglichen Bedarf befinden sich in der nächsten Ortschaft. Wir haben für nächstes Jahr schon gebucht...

Une bastide idéale pour grande famille - Ideal 'bastide' for large families

Réunion familiale avec enfants et petits-enfants pour célébrer nos 50 ans de mariage. Nous étions 12, mais la taille de la maison et sa disposition permet à tous de se retrouver dedans ou dehors, dans le grand salon ou dans la salle à manger d'été ou autour de la vaste piscine, mais aussi de s'isoler ou de vaquer à des activités personnelles.Décoration originale, théâtrale et réussie et équipement et confort très complets. Le site est superbe. Tous ont été enthousiasmés du séjour. Family reunion with children and grand-children to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. A party of 12, yet the size and layout of the house enabled us to get all together in the large lounge or the outdoors dining room or around the vast swimming pool, or to remain alone and attend to private matters. Very original and pleasant decoration, on the theatrical side, fully equipped, very comfortable. The environment is superb. All were enthusiastic about the stay.

Petit paradis pour instants conviviaux

Charming villa in natural environment

We spent one week with a group of friends all aged 60+ in this quiet Provencal villa in the little village of Le Beaucet. We were 5 couples and one single person. We all had our own bedroom with ensuite bathroom. 6 of the bedrooms are spaceous and more or less equivalent but one bedroom, which we didn't use, is smaller and has no windows. The two bedrooms labelled as studio's are situated at the lower floor and are only accessible from outside. Use of an external stair is required which may be a little tricky for older people. Quality of the beds is excellent but some of them are close to the ground. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space to eat inside or outside. We appreciated the meal which was offered by the friendly and knowledgeable owner, Mr. Henry, upon our arrival on Saturday. The decoration throughout the house is charming and there is a large collection of books and CD's. The swimming pool is well secluded and offers nice views of the mountain opposite the house. After the early morning hours it is in the shade for the rest of the day. We had most of our lunches next to the pool. Pool chairs are simple. There's a covered BBQ area. There's one decent restaurant in Le Beaucet itself, plenty in the surrounding area (St Didier, Venasque, L'Isle s/Sorgue, Carpentras, etc...). No surprises or extra costs at the end of the week, everything was included. Overall we were very satisfied with our choice! Jos D, Zoersel, Belgium

Surreal Heaven in Le Beaucet

For Americans accustomed to "fast-food" sophistication, Henri's delightful villa is completely alien to our senses. Is it real? Does such a incredibly unique and well-appointed house seemingly teetering on the edge of Le Beaucet really exist? It is fantastic. Truly fantastic. Without a doubt, my family and I will never, ever forget Monts de Vaucluse. Our only regret is that we had so over scheduled our trip to Provence that we did not have enough time to enjoy Henry's house to the fullest. Reserve at least one full day to enjoy Henri's house and wander the narrow streets of the sublime Le Beaucet. Can you find your way to castle on the top of the hill? Warning: your GPS might send you directly up a steep street to the villa, which is situated on one of the many tiers of Le Beaucet. There are three other, safer ways to approach. Be advised! The first time to the house, in the dark, we went up that 60 degree incline, thinking it was our only way up! It was fun spinning gravel, but it scared the heck out of my kids! I give this house my highest recommendation to both American urban-dwellers craving the chic and to the family vacationers wanting a little flare in their Provence stay. Children will love the infinity pool and the "themed" rooms -- in fact, my children argued half the night over who should get to stay in the "Sea Room." I loved the "Desert Room" the best. There are table games on the patio below. Washer and dryers are also available. Henri was slightly ill during our stay, so I only got a chance to chat with him a few times. From what I gleaned, he is a sweet man, who has put his heart and soul into this house. It truly is a work of art. All my best to Henri and all those with the good taste to enjoy Henri's luxury villa. Stay well.

Magnifique Mas, très spacieux, aussi beau à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Splendide jardin, superbe piscine à débordement Belle vue sur les falaises, calme absolu, endroit très reposant. Beaucoup de balades et visites à faire. Propriétaire très accueillant, fort sympa et très bon cuisinier, un succulent repas était prêt à notre arrivée. Rien ne manque.
