"quiet and comfy!! staff do nice"

"This was the best stay at this property and the 3 bedroom loft was absolutely wonderful, spacious and beautiful! I have stayed at the property many times before under previous ownership and this was the best. The only recommendation I have is to add a vanity and chair in the master bedroom of the 3 bedroom loft and also to better communicate when Blue lightening closes early. We had friends come with us just for the day to snow tube at the 6-8pm session, however, when we got there, they closed early although we had called ahead. "

"Location is more to the country side very quiet and peaceful. Love it clean fresh air. Comfortable clean bed, and sparkling bathroom. This a motel room do not expect 5 star hotel amenities, but it was renovated and clean. It comes with a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee maker. "

"My family stayed in room 11 for 12 nights. Honesty, we all agree that this was one of the best motels we've ever stayed in. We chose this place expecting it to be kinda outdated due to the reviews, but the replies from the owner we're so sassy I was willing to risk our entire vaction quality. Boy am I glad I did! The room was beautifully remodled, the outside a little outdated, but who sleeps outside enough to care? Jackie was so helpful and friendly, we acrually felt a sense of family from this motel. No matter the time, she was willing and beyond happy to help and assist. I believe the bad reviews were from people who just cant be pleased regardless. 10/10 would reccomend this motel 100 times. If we're ever in or near Sussex again, we will for sure be staying here. We actually discussed taking another vacation during the summertime, just to stay at this motel and in Sussex again. "

"It's a lovely place, with a lot of old time charm. Room was clean, good size and nicely decorated. Loved the bathroom and the big mirror on the back of the door. And it had an electric fireplace, for ambiance. A for decor everywhere, including the dining igloos in the backyard. Thank you to all the staff for everything that you do to make this hotel a wonderful stay. "
