"Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm...

"An excellent outpost for us to drive the island on 6 individual day trips. Perfect room with a great sleeping mattress and all accoutrements needed plus a tea table on a covered porch. The Caribbean view was an awesome experience morning and evening. The restaurant was our stalwart for nourishment each morning and all but one evening. "The hotel was very nice, the room was clean, the beds comfortable, but the hotel is not located where you can walk to town or the beach. I had thought it would be near the beach area, but it's on the other side of the road. The staff was kind, food was not very quick but was good. "

"Serenity lodges is the perfect place to stay when arriving at the airport! The owners, Lester and Carina, are wonderful people - they keep a spotless place, and they are very helpful. "I booked this trip for my clode friend. She was extremely disapoibted because the A/C didnt work and she spoke with the front desk more than once on the issue. Additionally during her stay housekeeping never changed the linens..she did not enjoy her stay at all. It was very uncomfortable "
