"My third time at this hotel. While I generally prefer to support a boutique hotel, all exceptions are made to come to Radisson Kandy. And I have yet to question our choice! "It was so convenient for us to stay here and in the middle of the night walk up to the bottom of Adam's Peak and climb the mountain. The hotel provides meals as well which is handy. The staff are helpful."

"Very nice staff. Room was as shown in pictures. Clean and well kept up. Pool was nice, not a lot of space but wasn't ever a crowd. They provide filtered water for free which was awesome. Only downside was the elevator is up a couple flights of stairs"

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. "If you enjoy fantastic landscapes, history and excellent service, this is the perfect place for you. Our welcome to this remarkable building was warm and very professional. "Friendly and helpful staff at reception and especially in restaurant. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Good food in restaurant. Very close to lake and easy access to town especially temple and city museum. Slightly noisy due to busy road but even so we would still recommend. "

"Such a lovely property! A little out of town but no trouble to travel back and forth in a tuk tuk. It helps if you have a driver you can contact though. The view from our room was amazing, everything was so clean and the staff were really attentive and the pool area was really relaxing"

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "

In the Heart of the town.

"The staff were great, super friendly and we were made to feel comfortable straight away with a fresh hot face towel and a cup of tea, even got a free welcome head massage. Everyone was helpful with places to go as well as recommendations for the next stop of our trip. Your also next to the Grand Hotel opposite Victoria park so location is great but the thing letting the hotel down was the building needs a refurb. Bathroom door didn't shut as the wood had bowed, paint on the walls and ceiling were patchy, needs a little TLC but overall a great looking place and we were well looked after."
