"Don't be put off by the lack of curb appeal, the apartment attached to the main home is situated at the back and has a spectacular view of the valley. The sunrise was stunning. The unit was spotlessly clean. It looked newly constructed and had a cute cottage vibe. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was suitably equipped, the bathroom had a full laundry attached. Tons of hot water, and filtered drinking water at the sink. The host was very accommodating to a change in date and check in was super easy. It was also very quiet and cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

The hosts, Shirley/Jack/Cooper are amazing (Don't tell Jack, but Cooper was our favorite) they made sure we had every thing needed to be comfortable and were extremely welcoming. The views from the bedroom are breath taking, especially on a stormy Fall evening. The community of Margaretsville is incredibly picturesque with no shortage of views and history. I highly recommend them for a quiet getaway."

"Margaretsville is a very small, but very scenic town. Dining options are limited to a few restaraunts a short drive away from town. The accommodation is one small room adequate for single or couple only, beautifully kept, with an outside hottube and beautiful view right on the ocean. Hosts (Liz and Ray) could not be nicer or more helpful. Middleton is a good size town with all conveniences a short drive away."

"I was there to ride my motorcycle and see Nova Scotia. This location was perfect for getting around, not far from Rt 1, the highway and Trunk 8. So it was close to riding the coastline, cutting across the island or the highway to every where else. Returning back to a quiet place to enjoy the thoughts and views of the day’s ride was made easy with this private setting."
