"This place is great! Close to Salem and just a train ride to Boston. Quiet neighborhood and close to local stores and restaurants. I stay there with my husband, Aunt and cousin all in our seventies. This is not a place for seniors or people with disabilities. The entrance you have stairs to the porch and steep stairs to the the apartment which made it hard for us. I don’t know if this is normal for this part of the country.But overall the place was nice and well stocked. Suggestion: "

"I give this place 3 stars, its a nice place with a good amount of room but there are a few issues. Our stay was Monday - Friday, just 2 adults. Pros - lots of room. Cons - no ac. There is a portable ac unit on wheels in the bedroom however, the exhaust vent goes behind a curtain to the window but not outside. There is no way to open the window for the exhaust vent to take the hot air outside so it just pumps all the hot air back into the room. Be prepared to wake up at 7:30am every morning...

"My partner and 2 friends stayed at this quaint and cute place. It provided a good setting to spend with friends and had the basic necessities. We did feel like there were certain things missing, ex, a fan, and small little touches. These things wouldn't impact your stay, however, it was something that stayed with us. It was a great place for 2 couples or 2 individuals. Thank you so much for a great getaway and a cute town. I would consider staying again in the future."

"Nothing about this apartment was comfortable the kitchen had no pots or pans for cooking, no table and chairs to eat, the bed/mattress was uncomfortable,bedding smelled of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on the blanket, blinds were broken, restroom tiles were cracked, shower curtain smelled of cigarettes , a train close by made a lot of noise all through the night, no access to the Wi-Fi only had password but not name. "We greatly enjoyed staying at this property! The two bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen and living room had everything we needed, the place was spotless, and the back patio was adorable. We could not have been more pleased with the location - safe, quiet street, and walkable to the T, shops, groceries, CVS, restaurants, and green spaces. The host was incredibly communicative and we were well informed throughout our entire visit. We would most definitely stay again!"

My recommendations would be to have a tv in the first floor living area and tvs in the bedrooms as well. Also some kind of curtain or frosted glass in the upstairs bathroom for privacy, since it looks right out onto the Salem State fields."

"Super unique! Very walkable to all the fun stuff downtown. I give this place 4.5 stars. My only beef is its terribly expensive for a 1 bathroom and the living room is cool, but uncomfortable. Great for insta pics and all that, but if you think you're gonna unwind an watch a scary movie its not gonna happen. The couches are more decorative. Big kitchen with everything that you'd have at home. And whoever was the decorator...the detail is impeccable. "
