"Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in Métabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake Neuchâtel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"A lovely chalet with an extra large balcony that has amazing, expansive views of the lake. Perfect place to watch the fireworks from across the lake for the Swiss National Day! We ate most of our meals outside on the balcony. The grandkids loved exploring the outdoor grounds. The house was nicely equipped and the owners were easy to contact and helpful when needed. The loft bedrooms might be difficult for some people to climb the ladder up to. A beautiful house with a beautiful view."

"Lovely Chalet. Brand new. A few bits of finishing required such as the shutters on some windows haven't been installed, and the BBQ stand is an old oil drum. Amazing view and lovely decking area to sit out. Chalet was very spacious and had everything we needed. A great hang out area in the downstairs and the finish is nice. It was very clean too. A few more mugs would be nice. It should exclusively say on the listing "no Wifi" to be clearer. I think most guests expect wifi as normal these days....

"We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet d'Alpage. The owners, David and Justine are very nice and helpfull people. The chalet was clean, well equipped, warm and cosy and the log burner is a nice touch. The hot water was super hot and plentiful, and the bathroom had both an excellent shower and a comfortable bath. Nice location and easy acces to all areas of interest (we had a car though). We can't thank enough to David and Justine for all their help and guidance, and we will definitely go back for...
