"Could not expect such a great place and such a cordial reception after driving a couple hours up and up… Nicely respirated previously abandoned house became a cozy home for the owners and for us! "We very much enjoyed our stay at Karl and Agentas villa, the town of Laurens is a very sleepy area in the middle of a wine county. Our young children enjoyed watching the small tractors ferry grapes to the local winery. The locals of the village were very friendly. The Villa is beautiful with a clean good sized pool which we spent most of our days by. The house was a great size for 5 adults and 3 small young children. "We spent a very quiet and restful 3 weeks exploring the area. The weather was not kind to us but it did not spoil the pleasure we found at the property which was comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed preparing our own meals in the perfectly adequate kitchen. We enjoyed the sports we watched on TV. It was a shame to see the damage to the palm tree caused by the dreadful storms we endured. Thank you for allowing us to rent your property, we really enjoyed our visit."
