"Stonehaven looks like it’s straight out of a movie set. The harbor and shore front boardwalk had stunning views and whimsical public art. Staff members at the Ship’s Inn were lovely, friendly, and attentive. The food was great and options were numerous. Breakfast was better than I’d expected and the portions were more than generous. "The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves.
