Our family enjoyed the stay and found the property very convenient for hiking on Friday and Saturday. Plenty of room to spread out and they loved the hot tub.
The cabin itself and the owner was great. No complaints there at all. The neighbors the cabin shares a driveway are a little suspect. They let their two dogs roam free and they seems like they are trained to crap right in front is the cabin stairs. They also had frequent visitors that only seemed to come long enough to “pick something up “ and then be on their way.

Cabin is quant and nice. Porch is wonderful.
Here are a few helpful hints.
Towel bars. Fire wood available. Basic food non parishables.
Granddaughter ask for more decorations. Looks like a man decorated.

Weekend Getaway
There were a lot of little problems with the place. No bottom hinge on bedroom door. No closer on same door. Not clean.
The cabin is nice & clean, however you can tell that someone smoked inside at some point. The neighborhood… is a little less than desirable. The owner is very communicative and fast with responses! It is close to the hiking within 25 minutes! The cabin its self is actually very beautiful you can tell it’s an older build and has alot of character! Bathrooms are clean and one has been renovated. The rugs in the photos aren’t there and the stools but the bar are different ones, If the owner actually had those in there it would add the extra charm to the place that would set it over the top. Cold water does have rust, again older build not a big deal just dry shampooed hair. Beds are comfortable and lots of space overall! Not bad for the price!

Disappointed
Not good, it's an older place and has potential to improve, so hopefully they will. The master bedroom is the best room with updated restroom and nice shower, and is located on the upper floor with the kitchen. The lower floor has a good size sitting area with 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom. However the stairs are a little too steep for older adults which means they have to go out to walk around to get to the upper floor or vis versa to get to the lower floor. The view from the kitchen window is like looking at a trash dump. I take responsibility for not being a better shopper and reading other reviews. Needless to say we left after the first night, meaning l had to eat about 900.00.
Took my entire family on vacation- there were 12 of us in total. Ages from 57 down to 4 month old. Had no idea of the property directly across from the cabin. They have piles of junk out front-mattress, refrigerator doors-scrap metal and more. There was a large area covered with blue tarp with tires propped against it. Looked like a junk yard. The cabin itself was infested with stink bugs. It was bad enough they were dropping from the ceiling into the bed. The entire downstairs smelled overwhelming like dirty dog. It took my breath and was enough to make me cover my face to avoid the smell. Lighting in the cabin is not good. Couldn’t see well when trying to cook on the stove, I used my phone flashlight on a shelf above to see what we were doing. Cabin looks sloppily updated, splots of paint on the floors and ceiling. PVC adhesive splashed on the wall and left there. Half assed painted around the bathroom vanity, with one area behind the bathroom door still unfinished drywall. We tried to open a window for air to find there aren’t any screens. And when we moved the curtain aside the whole curtain rod fell, because the rod holder was balanced on one nail- not screwed to the wall. It fell multiple times during our stay. Bedroom door wouldn’t close right- only to see that there were a total of 2 screws holding it in place. It was bad enough I wanted to sleep in my car, but my kids wouldn’t allow me to. There were a lot of towels provided, however they were full of matted hair.
