"We stayed over a long weekend at the cabin and had a great time. Plenty of area to explore and the creek behind the house was gorgeous. The hot tub was awesome. Inside the cabin was great, beautifully decorated, nice appliances and cabinets etc. The gas fireplace along with the AC unit kept the whole house warm when it was 14 degrees outside. Only downside was the couch, definitely worn out and needs replacing. Also if traveling from Boone to the cabin and there is heavy snow, 4WD or AWD is recommended to make it up a slope along the way. Overall I would definitely recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here in the future. "

"Really fun and beautiful place. The Christmas decor was so thoughtfully placed and you can tell someone put a whole lot of effort making it cozy and beautiful! We didn't need anything. They had extra of everything! We definitely heard the squirrels at night, but we turned on a box fan to drown out the noise and we slept great in the super comfortable beds. Water pressure wasn't the best, and the dishes weren't super clean, but we ran them in the dishwasher and they were fine.Overall a really beautiful and quiet place to stay. Our 3 preteens LOVED it!!! Memories to last a lifetime!"

"What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. Keep in mind that the property is pretty remote so make sure you bring everything you need for the stay or be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery. Also, there are a few stretches of dirt road on the way to the property so watch for those transitions."

"We enjoyed our stay at Dave’s place. The property was very clean and the views were amazing! Dave was also very accommodating to adding a couple of nights on to our stay. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay again, the next time we are in the area."
