"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. "This is a great choice for Cite. It’s crazy cheap new building. Cheap furniture but pretty clean spacious. Breakfast is 3 euro it is same as 11 Euro breakfast. Coffee machine. Great valley. Next to la Cite. A bit harder to go into town "

There is a beautiful courtyard garden ideal for relaxing before heading off for an evening meal at one of the good restaurants in the immediate vicinity (but be aware that many are closed on Wednesdays). An excellent place to stay for a short break in Carcassonne."
