Kalapana is truly “Privacy in Paradise” as the home is surrounded by 1.5 acres of lush tropical gardens and fruit trees, in the beautiful neighborhood of Launiupoko, Lahaina. This luxury home is fully air-conditioned and features an expansive 'great room' spilling onto an outdoor lanai with unobstructed views of our neighboring islands. The pool captures the same views and is surrounded with ample outdoor seating and chaise lounges. The elevated jacuzzi for 8 is a great place to start your day or catch the sunset. Adjacent to the pool area is an outdoor shower made private with lava rock construction and foliage.
The 'great room' separates the bedrooms for maximum privacy with a master bedroom suite in one wing and 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths in the other. Above the great room is a spacious loft with pool table, wet bar, and Eurolounger. The master bedroom features a dual walk-in shower and oversized tub.
The loft includes a complete ‘business center' with printer/scan/copy capabilities. Bring your laptop and share your experiences while staying in touch. We are also equipped with a SONOS music system.
The bedrooms are elegantly furnished with new Simmons Heavenly beds made famous in Starwood Hotels. There is a Heavenly California King bed in the master, Heavenly King and Heavenly Queen in the other 2 guest rooms.
Kalapana is at an elevation of 700 ft. and only 10 minutes from Lahaina . Total interior living space is over 3,500 sq. ft. plus a wrap-around lanai (terrace). Spacious walk in closets are featured in two of the bedrooms. There is an enclosed garage and fitness area which contains Powerblocks, yoga mats, stationary bike, and rowing machine. The neighborhood offers wonderful walking, hiking, and biking trails.
Kalapana is part of a farmstead and in addition to the gardens includes 2 organic fruit orchards. Guests are welcome to (and encouraged!) to pick the avocado, banana, orange, grapefruit, guava, tangerine, lemon, lime, starfruit, and much more. Start your day with fresh fruit straight from the garden.
The chef's kitchen is open to the great room and enjoys the same panoramic views. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and service for 12.
The lanai and lawn areas include a gas BBQ, several seating and lounge areas, and a large dining table set under a large pergola. The expansive lawn has a hammock for reading or napping, and is a great place for a game of croquette, bocce ball, or corn hole.
There are plenty of pool toys and beach gear for your use, including beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, pool loungers and beach towels. We also have children's toys, a high chair, and pack and play you're welcome to use.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was beautiful, clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay on Maui. Gorgeous views, wonderful pool/hot tub and yard. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking the trails. Communication with the owner was excellent. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was the best!

The pictures are beautiful but don’t do it justice. The view is 360 degrees and so incredibly beautiful. The house was lovely and the beds were comfy. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

This was our second time staying here. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you would need for the beach as well as a well stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee, spices and oils. The views are amazing. We spent many nights star gazing and the days in awe of the mountains and ocean views. Wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay.

We had a group of 6 (3 couples) without children for the week and it was just what the doctor ordered. The house was perfect to relax and enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. Many little extras in the house that make it much more than a "rental".

Amazing property that made for an amazing holiday!
This entire property is exceptional. Our host was so thoughtful and we always had exactly what we needed, down to shampoo in the outdoor shower and insulated mugs for around the pool. You really can just show up and start enjoying your vacation. I can’t say enough about this home, and how it truly made the holiday for us.

A Wonderful and Relaxing Family Vacation

Better than any hotel
I am one of three in a flight crew, and we stay in hotels all the time. We talked amongst ourselves, and thought it would be a change of pace to rent a house. This place couldn’t be any better. complete relaxation. Even though most of our trips are over to the big island if we stay there for any length of time we will definitely get an airline flight to Maui and stay in this property again.

Wonderful vacation
The home is very comfortable and exactly as advertised. We all enjoyed our stay immensely. There is enough space inside and out for 6 people. We cooked a lot (thank you for the fully stocked kitchen!!!), spent time in the pool and hot tub and explored the island from our "base camp". The sound system is wonderful, the pool table was a lot of fun, everything was great. Neighborhood is quiet and well kept. And, it's convenient to go and explore. Thank you, Maya!

Experience at the house was excellent.
Location was excellent, easily accessible to Lahaina, beaches and airport. The property was a great retreat after busy days. Spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Lanai, pool, views were what a vacation is about. If u can, get up early to listen to the birds! Pie at leodas is a must. House was very clean, had everything we needed. Maya was very professional and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Stunning views
We had a wonderful time at the Launiuopoko home! The views were amazing and we loved watching the sunrise and sunset each day. We were also fortunate to see whales splashing around. The house had everything you need and we cooked most meals in the well equipped kitchen. We also spent plenty of time in the pool and hot tub. Perfect way to end the day after exploring the island. Maya was very responsive. We had a slight issue with the air in the back rooms and she made sure it was handled quickly. Can’t thank her enough for making our vacation top notch. We highly recommend this home!

Maya’s house is beautiful and well-kept. She provided everything needed for a stay at the property. We had one glitch, that being access to the entry when we arrived. Maya was contacted and within about 15 minutes the issue was resolved. The pool and hot tub are very clean. The hot tub heats up nicely and was so soothing. Amazing views & Beautiful House
Maya is a wonderful host and the house is amazing. Very comfy and full of everything you need. It had everything needed for a fun day at the beach. We cooked some great meals with a fully stocked kitchen, the kids enjoyed the pool, we had two of our employees with us that enjoyed the workout equipment every morning. We played pool every night with our girls. Enjoyed the sunrise in the morning with a nice cup of coffee. Maya even gave us great pointers on shopping and was a pleasure to meet. We could see whales playing in the water right from the backyard. The house was close to all our activities and the sunsets are too die for. Would definitely book again.

Amazing!
I can't say enough about this property!!! The views are over the top gorgeous. We had most of our meals on the big beautiful table looking out at the ocean. Spending our evenings in the hot tub watching beautiful sunsets made for the perfect night cap! Not to mention the breath taking mountain views! The weather didn't cooperate for part of our stay but because of all of the rain we were rewarded with a beautiful waterfall on the mountain behind us. We relaxed in the pool while enjoying the waterfalls. I also can't say enough about Maya. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonder stay. She was on top of it with and questions or needs. Thank you Maya for allowing us to spend this week in your beautiful home!

Maui o ka maika’i ( Maui is the best)
It’s so great a location. Just minutes away from surfing spots and picture perfect sunsets and sunrises. The Ditch trail was close by and we walked it daily. For dinner we usually grilled fresh fish at the house, but when we wanted something special, we found a variety of restaurants on Lower Honoapiilani Road. But the house itself was very comfortable and very well equipped with bathroom and kitchen supplies. This is a place that we would like to return to again and again

Paradise!
Maya’s property was wonderful! It had a beautiful view of the Ocean and neighboring islands. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for morning, evening or all day! The accommodations inside the home were very comfortable and Maya did not miss a thing with all the extras in the home. We would definitely return for another stay in paradise!
