The Space:
Be greeted by a beautiful and modern facade, complemented by the convenience of off-street garage parking. The garage also includes a laundry area with a combined washer/dryer.
Step inside to discover a contemporary space. The first bedroom, located off the hallway, features a comfy queen-sized bed and an ensuite equipped with a convenient shower. Further along the hallway, you'll find the main bathroom and a separate toilet for added privacy.
The hallway opens up to a gorgeous, light-filled kitchen-dining-living space. The kitchen is well-appointed with essentials, cookware, crockery and modern appliances. Ample bench space is available for you to whip up your tasty home-cooked meals.
The dining space houses a delightful 6-seater dining area where you can enjoy your creations or catch up with loved ones.
The living room provides a cosy space to relax, complete with a smart TV for catching up on your favorite shows or snuggling in for a movie night. An adjoining patio, seamlessly accessed via a sliding door, offers a spot to bask in the sun during the day and enjoy clear, starry skies at night.
Branching off the living-dining area are the two additional bedrooms. One bedroom features a double bed, while the other accommodates two separate singles.

The Neighborhood:
Mowbray is a relatively new suburb located north of the Launceston city. Home to the University of Tasmania and the Australian Maritime College, it is a convenient and easy spot for your next getaway.
Launceston City is just a stone's throw away. Here you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces. The City Park is not to be missed, surrounded by beautiful oak tree gardens, you will find unique and fun experiences to enjoy such as train rides, a playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory, and cheeky snow monkeys.
Whilst in the CBD, make sure to visit the Cataract Gorge. A spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.
Mowbray is near Lilydale, which is known for its many bushwalks, English style gardens and hiking at Mt Arthur. Lilydale falls is nestled amongst the temperate rainforest. Explore the stunning, local flora and fauna whilst enjoying a short bushwalk that leads to the fresh-flowing waterfall. There are also open grounds here for you to take in your natural surroundings, whilst enjoying a picnic. An additional, more challenging hike is found at Mt Arthur. Mt Arthur slopes over this small town, and provides breathtaking panoramic views of Launceston’s northern regions and hinterland.
Nearby are some of Tasmania’s most renowned wineries including Ridge North Lilydale, Pipers Brook Vineyard, Jansz Tasmania wine room and Delamere Vineyards.
Only a short drive away is the Hollybank Treetops Adventure attraction. Enjoy ziplining through the tall trees, rolling through the forest floor on Segways, tackling a variety of ropes courses, and enjoying extensive mountain bike networks, catered to all skill levels.
A less than 20 minute drive away is the Hillwood Berry Farmgate. Here you can visit the cafe for berry ice-cream, jams or fruit wines made from the freshly picked produce. In summer you are invited to pick your own berries and take them home with you, if they have not yet been devoured!

METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.
FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. INTERCITY BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're in the North West region, which includes Burnie, Wynyard, Devonport, and more take a peek at the 'MerseyLink' bus service website for their timetables. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website. Please note that 'Kinetic' has you covered for some routes to and from Devonport as well.
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!

We have a gardener who will attend this property from time to time. It is unlikely he will attend during your stay, however if he needs to attend the property during your stay, we will notify you.
