If peace and quiet is the order of the day, Foxglove Cottage has it covered that said, just a couple of miles away is the bustling market town of Launceston, with high street shops and all the usual amenities including larger supermarkets, petrol filling station and cinema. Launceston can also boast its famous 13th century castle and in addition, a very charming steam railway which operates out of Launceston and is an absolute must do during your stay. Just a short drive away from Foxglove Cottage is the Eliot Arms serving food and drink all day and every day. Nearby and well worth a breakfast or lunchtime pit-stop is Cowslip Cafe and Craft workshops.....serving the best quiche and salad around with views out over Launceston and its castle. Finally, a visit to Cornish Moo to collect your fresh daily milk is quite an experience and in doing so, supports this wonderful working dairy farm. Some of North Cornwall's loveliest beaches are within less than a half hours drive away and include Trebarwith Strand near Tintagel and Widemouth Bay near Bude. To the rear of the cottage is a sunny, enclosed garden and patio with barbecue, firepit and garden furniture provided. Owners have made available some of their farmland to provide guests with a small paddock for exercising your dogs off lead. Elsewhere on the farm, dogs will need to be kept on leads due to livestock in neighbouring fields. Just below the cottage is a further lawn area with furniture for guest use to take in the incredible views! Ample, private parking for up to 3 cars located 30 metres from property. From the front of the cottage, three shallow steps take you up into the entrance lobby where you will find a handy/utility room with WC, wash hand basin and washing machine. The large galley style kitchen is next with an abundance of work surface and all the usual kitchen appliances included. Kitchen appliances include, electric hob, electric oven and separate grill, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. Please note the range in the kitchen photograph is not in use. Four deep steps lead up from the kitchen into the living room with parquet flooring, comfy sofas, SMART television and large wood burner taking central stage. Off the living room is the dining room to one side with access out into the garden and to the other side one of the four bedrooms. The bedroom of the living room is carpeted with a 5ft zip and link bed which can be made up as 2 x 2'6 single beds if preferred. From the dining room, a staircase leads up to the remaining three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The further bedrooms comprise of a 5ft king bed, a standard 4'6 double and another 5ft zip and link bed (can be made up as 2 x 2'6 single beds). There are three carpeted steps down to the 4'6 double bedroom where you will also find the family bathroom WC with bath, handheld shower attachment, basin and heated towel rail. A family shower room WC with rain head shower is located on the landing between the other two bedrooms. There is ample hanging and drawer space provided across all the bedrooms and all bedrooms are carpeted. This property is efficiently heated by wall mounted electric radiators. - This property welcomes 2 dogs of any size - a 3rd smaller dog may be accepted - please speak with the office - Stair gates provided - Dogs will need to be kept on a lead when exercising out of the dog paddock due to livestock in neighbouring field

Having booked your holiday the Agent Cornish Traditional Cottages will process and confirm your booking, the travel directions and arrival information will be sent to you. The travel directions will provide you with the details of the owner / housekeeper and instruction on who to contact a few days before your holiday to make the key arrangements. You will also be given the details of your point of contact should you have any questions or issues whilst on holiday.
