The kitchen and bathroom are conveniently tucked away. The kitchen, though compact, is beautifully renovated and fully equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, stove and fridge, along with all the essentials.
In the bathroom, you'll find a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity storage for your convenience.
For added convenience, there's a dedicated off-street parking space and an on-site communal laundry with both a washer and dryer.

The Neighborhood
Riverside is a unique and peaceful suburb, sitting on the hillside west of Launceston. A self-contained suburb, Riverside offers a large shopping complex including a well-equipped Woolworths, gift shop, a pharmacy, a bakery and more. Nearby you will find the Tailrace Centre, Kids Paradise and a recreation area located alongside the Tamar River.
Riverside is the gateway to the Tamar wine region. Some places to note include Swinging Gate, Velo wines, Moores Hill Estate, Tamar Ridge, Stoney Rise, Rosevears and the ever-so-popular Timbre restaurant.
There are several walking tracks found within Riverside and its surrounds including the Tamar Island Wetlands nature reserve, the Notley Fern Gorge and the Tailrace Park. Within these tracks you’ll be treated to a variety of different landscapes and tracks, an abundance of native flora and flora species and historical landmarks. Enjoy some of the most beautiful urban wilderness, right on your doorstep. Such tracks include the North Esk Riverside walk, Notley Fern Gorge and the Tamar Island Wetlands nature preserve.
The Tasmanian Zoo is located in Riverside, which exhibits over 100 different rare, native and exotic species of animals. Watch the Tasmanian Devil at feeding time, interact with a wombat, hold a slippery snake or play with the active meerkats!
Only 10 minutes from the city, it’s an easy drive to town. Launceston City has a wonderful variety of shops, cafes, eateries and bars, as well as the City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys.
Whilst in the CBD, make sure to visit the Cataract Gorge. A spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.

To get the most out of your stay, to be able to explore all that Launceston and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:
METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.
FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. INTERCITY BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're in the North West region, which includes Burnie, Wynyard, Devonport, and more take a peek at the 'MerseyLink' bus service website for their timetables. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website. Please note that 'Kinetic' has you covered for some routes to and from Devonport as well.
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!

Notes
The lovely studio is all yours to enjoy; however, please note that the laundry facilities are found within a communal laundry which is used by all guests and residents in the apartment block. The washing machine/dryer charges $4 per wash and accepts $1 coins only.
The apartment sits adjacent to a highway. Please note that there will be some traffic noise throughout the day; however, this should be minimal at night.
