"This is an older property. Ice machine was not working. No breakfast offered. Room was clean and for the money was fine. "

The choice of décor and colors tie-in the nostalgic aspects of the older Texas small downtown building with style while also meeting our expectations of a contemporary experience. Location is great for exploring the area and jumping onto any of the highways to visit the neighboring communities and towns. "

"I'm not sure how we missed that this area had no kitchen or BBQ area and as we had already gone grocery shopping, we had steaks that needed to be cooked one of the two nights we stayed here! One cannot waste steak! Luckily, the Dollar Store up the road had a hibachi for sale! The steak was perfect! We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! Again, you can tell that everything was selected carefully and the effect was... whimsical. *** Again, as a disabled person, an easier way into the hot tub would be awesome, and perhaps a grab bar in the shower or a shower mat? I cannot wait to stay at this location again! "

"My husband and I stopped here between home and Alexandria, LA, on our way to visit his mother. I am so glad we stayed at this location rather than electing to stay at some random hotel. The back patio's view at sunset is breathtaking! You can tell how much thought went into the place, down to the tiniest details! We enjoyed listening to your record collection while cooking, eating, and winding down for the night! We will be returning and are sad we could only stay one night! Thank you! **As a disabled person, having a grab bar in the shower would be a fantastic addition! Otherwise, very handicap accessible! "

"Andrew and I couldn't possibly be handled better under loss of power. Quickly we had lights and A/C, fruit from the garden, bacon, and eggs. Loved the cows just on the other side of the fence. We'll be back."
