"This was our third time staying in this castle apartment. It’s a lovely little piece of heaven. We love everything about it. The views are simply spectacular! We love the kitchen and prepared several meals while there. The location is great and the town is so very cute. There are great restaurants all around and it’s an easy drive to lots of other little towns, restaurants, and shops and wineries. We like going to the market day in the Piazza and to the Coop for little bits of groceries. ...

"The villa had an excellent layout for families traveling together with amazing views of the countryside and mountains, and was within walking distance to a lovely family-owned osteria and short drive to local food stores. "Ok, it's not exactly medieval living... It's better! The Medieval family who built the castle that once was attached to this tower didn't have indoor plumbing. This gem has all the modern conveniences (including indoor plumbing, a kitchen, 1 1/2 bathrooms, heating and air conditioning) while being tucked away in a quaint little commune (Pratovecchio-Stia). "Es ist das letzte Haus an der Straße in dem kleinen Ort, also kein Verkehr, nur Ruhe😌. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich👍. Wir sind angekommen und haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sehr gute Empfehlungen von sehenswerten in der Nähe geschickt, welche perfekt auf uns gepasst haben. Es war alles in allem eine sehr schöne Woche. Vielen Dank!!!😁"

"One of the best travel experiences we have shared with our daughters (6 and 8)! The place is truly magical. Our daughters loved the property and the garden. It was absolutely beautiful. They felt like they were in an adventure. We stayed in an apartment that was 2 floors. It had 2 adjoining rooms on the second floor and one right outside the 2 main rooms. The bathroom was on the first floor. It had a kitchen and a family room.***The place was a little rugged.*** I emphasize this for American travelers who prefer 3/4/5 star hotels. There was only one bathroom. We lost electricity one night. The staff accommodated us to another room for the night with electricity. However, that room did not have a heater. It was so cold! The staff overall was friendly and attentive. However, we chose not to have our room cleaned during our stay and as a result, it was very hard to get toilet paper. Every time we would go to the main desk to get toilet paper, the staff would ask us questions. I would have to remind them that we opted not to have our room clean. The breakfast was amazing! They had honey and olive oil from La Certosa. It was so delicious. Pilar was incredible! The is very friendly and kind. La Certosa makes it own wine as well. I highly recommend. We attended the optional Christmas 7 course lunch. It was phenomenal. They accommodated my food allergies. We have dined at fine restaurants and this lunch was the best! Overall, we would stay here again. We absolutely loved it!"
