"This was a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town. We had a spacious suite with a loft. The pool was an excellent addition to take a dip after our walks. Breakfast was so yummy, especially the Greek pastries and yoghurt. The outdoor area was beautiful. Would highly recommend this quaint hotel."

"It is located in the Old Town. There are only six rooms and so there isn't anyone there full time- they request that you tell them when you plan to arrive. We have a good sized room with a private deck. On the deck there is a very large Jacuzzi, though we didn't use it. A large umbrella provides shade. There is a table and chairs where it is pleasant to eat breakfast or you can go up to the roof and dine there in the sun. There is also a folding contraption that you can use to dry your towels...

"Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"The property is exquisite, no doubt. Very unique building and room that has kept some of the original building characteristics. Couple big issues though. First, the Wi-Fi is totally unusable, at least in the room we reserved. Was told it was normal because of the old stones used in buildings. If that’s the case, they should have a mesh network or a better solution than whatever they have now because we legit couldn’t get things to load and were told there was no internet at times by sites....

Fantastic villa with the kindest hosts

"It was our first time in Crete and a bit of a last minute booking. The Villa is fantastic. Spacious, modern and extremely well equipped. You’d be hard pressed to think of something you need and not find it! The hosts are the kindest loveliest people ever. They greeted us with a fridge full of food, including wine and beer! We were so surprised and delighted. On our last day, they even dropped off a little gift for the three of us. We loved everything about this villa. So much space, excellent views with so many amazing outdoor seating areas. We made fantastic memories here that will stay with us forever. Thank you Katerina and family for a wonderful holiday x "

Beautiful Home and Breathtaking views

"We just came back from our amazing stay at Villa Diana. We didn’t want to leave..everything about our vacation at the villa was top notch. Myron meant us at the Villa the night we got there and showed us around.( we appreciated that so much)..We knew when we got there that we picked the perfect place for our vacation. We just kept looking around in awe at how beautiful everything was. He also left us eggs, meat, cheese, bread, fruit, olive oil etc. That was such a nice surprise and very much appreciated. When we woke the next morning and the sun was out..we couldn’t believe the views ..full sea and Mountain views. Simply breathtaking 😍. We were a family of 5 and all had our own room and bathroom with another room and bathroom to spare. The elevator to our bedroom was so handy too. The outside area was like a resort.. Beautiful pool, hot tub, gym, ping pong table and an outdoor kitchen. The nights we were home we used the outdoor kitchen and ate outside surrounded by all the beauty. The location was perfect …so quiet and peaceful. Myron and his parents were amazing hosts and went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. Bringing us extra oil and always being available if we needed to know anything. We hope to return. Thanks again Myron to you and your family for everything… was the best vacation ever…from all of us. 🤗😎"

Villa Ilia - Four Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 9

Overall spacious nice place with a few caveats

"Never having been to Crete, we did our best to research areas. It really depends upon what you are looking for... Half of our group of six preferred this location for it's extremely authentic small town feel and quietness. The other other half would've preferred staying in Chania which had a little more going on. We rented a car which was a must either way. Other than that, we loved the spaciousness of the house, more than what the six of us needed. It was clean and the views were incredible! There was a large outdoor balcony where we sat for morning coffee, a side patio and outdoor kitchen which we did not use, but was a cool plus. The lower pool area was very pretty. Unfortunately, the pool was not heated and was too cold for us to use in September. That was a disappointment. We would've paid extra for heating of the pool. We were forewarned that the driveway which leads to the front door was extremely steep. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be for anyone the least bit motorically challenged. If you stay here, don't miss the nearby taverna and coffee shop-- such an authentic small town Greek experience with fresh food and friendly people. Prices were crazy reasonable. The biggest downside about this place were the beds-- mattresses were thin and hard, in great need of replacement!! All in all, a good experience. "

Historical Monument

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were late getting in the first night because the ferry was running behind. The directions put right at the house, it was dark so a little difficult finding the house. We were all tired. The host could not have been any nicer. He showed us around and gave us some history on the house. The beds were comfortable. The time we spent at the house we enjoyed sitting outside.. We would stay there again if ever in the area."

"Mini Bella Gonia exceeded all expectations for our second trip to Crete! We loved everything about the property, it was super clean & had the sweetest finishing touches. The property is in the loveliest little welcoming neighbourhood with no other tourists - which we loved! It was fantastic to meet the owners on our way out as you can see real care & attention has gone into creating the property. Everything from mosquito screens, brilliant air con, easy parking & your own pool, some lovely ouzo on arrival & a big thanks to the management company for great communication! 5 stars 🌟 Thank you! "
