"We loved this house, garden and pool set on the edge of a very friendly village. The host is very amenable and always replies promptly, the house is well equipped, comfortable and the pool was a godsend during the hot sunny week. The village is well located near to carcassonne and a visit to the gouffre geant cave is spectacular. The villagers are welcoming and friendly and we used the boulangerie (we tried the daily special often) and green grocer most days. The cafe also serves a great pizza...

"The Good Life was perfect. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. We enjoyed the well-appointed interior and sat outside in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine after our excursions to neighbouring towns and villages. BTW, the location is excellent for exploring the area. Rieux Minervois is a small town with a great boulangerie down the road (walking distance), good Italian restaurant across the road, and a local wine co-op. There's also a small market on Saturdays.
