The room was really nice. However I spent a little more for city view but when we got there we could only see the parking garage. The reception said that it is city SIDE not VIEW. Ok then why do you charge more? The sports book badly needs renovation, but other than that the property is great. Dining, movies, proximity to Downtown Summerlin.

The property/room was nice pretty on par for similar properties. Nothing stood out that would make me choose this over another though. The things I was really disappointed about was being told at least 2 pools and 2 hot tubs would be open. There ended up only being one pool open but front desk and reservations had no idea all others were closed. That was frustrating because I would’ve booked somewhere else. The other thing was the restaurant/ Pennie’s cafe service was terrible. Got seated, sat for about 15 minutes before getting waters, then after no waitress for another 10 minutes got up and left. I have vip with Expedia but that made no difference to staff seemingly because it’s a third party still.

The property was right next door to an outdoor mall so shopping was an easy walk away with plenty of food options. The room was very quiet and my wife really enjoyed the soaking tub after all the walking and shopping.

Unfortunately, the live music band in the Rouse lounge was so loud that our room on the 11th floor heard loud thumping bass sounds. I called front desk and they were going to tell band to turn off balcony speakers, but really didn't make a difference. Very annoying as it went on until almost 1am. I suggested sound proofing the lounge better or letting hotels guests know when band is performing there is noise.

Loud could hear EVERYTHING in surrounding rooms and the room was not cleaned and sanitized there was literally vomit in our sink and the plumbing needs work it took all day for the tub to drain and the toilet was making noise the entire time

we stayed at the Red Rock Casino for the F1 weekend in November. we did not want to stay near the strip or the crowds so this was an excellent location. the hotel/ resort complex is massive and yet so easy to navigate. we did not spend any time in the casinos but loved the food court and entertainment area like the bowling alley and arcade area. the pool area looked very inviting and i was very sorry that I did not take advantage of sitting out there! our room was on a high floor overlooking the Red Rock Canyon. it was spacious and comfortable. the washroom was adequate. i think it just felt slightly dated BUT again, it was comfortable. I visited the Spa to get my hair styled- and had tracey as a stylist. she was very pleasant. the spa is very lovely- a great atmosphere. the hotel is very close to great shopping and dining options. it is very easy to drive around vegas from the resort. we had a great weekend here!
