I received a message asking me to use the MGM app for express check in and a digital key. Went to the room and the digital key didn’t work. I went to the front desk and they told me that I needed to pay $200 first and then get my keys. I’m not sure why Excalibur would ask you to do this if you had to go to the desk in the first place. I finally got in my room, it looked like the same room I stayed in 20 years ago. The shower leaked and the dripping became too much. Also when the bathroom sink was used water would leak out onto the counter and then on the floor and the bathroom light flickered which was also annoying. I went to the front desk and they gave me a new room in the royal tower. No problem. So I had to pack up and move to the resort tower which was also kind of annoying. The new room was a little better but not that good either. The rooms just felt dirty and didn’t really give me a comfortable feeling.
