"I enjoyed my stay at Nayal Lodge. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and you can see a beautiful sunset from the beachfront. I appreciate the cozy nature of the Lodge with only 4 rooms for a quiet and peaceful experience. Catalina and Jose were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and because they live on the property, it gives a very personal touch. The food is very tasty! The property itself is close to other restaurants and a short 20 minute drive to Leon for a different experience. I would...

"First off, nobody speaks any English, so make sure your Spanish is good. The rooms, furniture and fixtures were highly used at best. There was only intermittent water made available for drinking and I had to go to the nearby hostel to fill my water bottle. Meal service was shaky and the staff seemed put out every time you asked for something. "People try to charge you anytime they can some extra fees for air conditioning, shampoo, water etc etc... Hotel room was dirty full of sand beach everywhere, bed and bathroom in bad condition I wouldn't recommend it not even to an enemy!"
