"This hotel is in an amazing location and is beautiful but what stood out the most was the service and attention given to guests. Everyone at the front desk was kind and welcoming. Jose Luis, Isaac, Ariel and the rest of the team really know hospitality and how to treat guests and make you feel welcome. Ana Yancy was also very helpful, professional and kind. We definitely will stay here again when visiting Leon!!"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Portales Hotel in Chinandega, Nicaragua, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service made us feel like we were part of a family. The pool is absolutely stunning—clean, beautifully designed, and the perfect temperature! It was a fantastic place to relax during the warm days. Breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The all-you-can-eat buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I loved that I could order my eggs cooked exactly how I wanted. Breakfast service from 6 to 11 AM made it easy to enjoy a leisurely start to the day. For lunch and dinner, the culinary offerings were exceptional! I especially recommend trying the salmon with veggies; it was simply phenomenal! Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were incredible. The rooms are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The air conditioning was a blessing, the WiFi was excellent, and the spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers were such a treat. Our room was consistently cleaned, ensuring a comfortable stay. What truly stood out, however, was the amazing staff. From Crishian and Francisco at the bar to the lovely concierge team—Heidy, Lorena, Stephanie, and Milagro—their warm smiles and friendly demeanor made every interaction a joy. Jorge was also fantastic."
