"Albarracin is a very picturesque town with castle cathedral and narrow streets and a river gorge. Picture postcard scenery. Albarracin hotel is a centrally located character building with friendly English speaking staff useful when you get stuck with your Spanish. The hotel was very clean with a comfortable room and a very good continental breakfast. My only other comments are we found the room hot. Probably ok for some. "They had an event during our stay, which led to waiting in the parking lot for an hour to find parking. Pool was closed. Shower head broken. Place is very peaceful and serene. Very clean and staff helpful. Close to being an excellent hotel, just need to tie up some loose ends. "

"A few miles outside Cuenca, this was a surprise on the plus side for us as it is in a secluded area with grapevines in front and lots of mature trees Super private. No need to stay in Cuenca as it is a short drive in the morning to get to the hanging houses if Cuenca. The main lounge has a woodburning fireplace which greeted us upon our arrival.
