"Perfection!"

"Perfect hotel for a pre-cruise overnight stay. The room was okay as it was a bit dated, but the customer service was exceptional. The young man at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful. Even walked outside with us to show us where the port bus departed. Included breakfast was fine. Wi-Fi was a bit iffy as it depended upon how many people were trying to access it at the same time. "

"We wanted a place to stay prior to a cruise, and wanted to explore Civitavecchia a bit. This suite was very close to the port, in a building shared with other residences. There was an elevator to our upper floor, and, in addition, we had access to a beautiful living/dining room and its' balcony, which had the most exquisite views of the water. We stepped outside several times during our visit to enjoy those views. Our room was spacious, comfortable and nicely updated. The decor included delightful touches to make you feel at home. There was also a balcony overlooking the city, for us to sit outside and relax. We were able to walk to the many restaurants that border the water, and enjoy the ambiance of the seaside. Although nearly all of the restaurants are closed on Mondays, the night that we happened to be there, we stopped at a bar that also served food once the kitchen opened, and had a most wonderful, unexpected meal that was delicious. In the morning, a special breakfast was provided by our lovely host. She was delightful and happy to help in any way. She knows everyone in the area, it seems and was able to secure us an uber to the port quickly, as well as to offer any information that we needed. One other benefit to this B&B is that there is a grocery store in the street floor of the building. We enjoyed exploring the store and its' products and it was comforting to know that something like this is available for any needs you might have, while visiting."

"Upon arrival from the airport in Rome (hotel arranged car service) we were met with a huge welcoming smile by the owner Loris who quickly unloaded our ton of luggage and took us to his hotel where we were met by another smile and introduced to Ambria who handled getting us all settled in including recommendations for things to do as well as local restaurants. The room was very nice and had a wonderful balcony with a direct ocean view. Please know that if your preference is for large scale chain type hotels, this is not the place for you. This is a spotlessly clean family owned small B&B/Hotel with only a few rooms and service/amenities that go above and beyond what you get at those types of hotels. Everything you could want including being treated like long lost friends, snacks, beverages and an amazing breakfast every day is literally right outside your room door! This is one of the best places we have stayed in our extensive travels!! Thank you again Loris for saving the day with the suitcase situation!!!"
