It is a short walk to the train station for getting into Dublin, but also close to two small local towns that have all the amenities anyone could need. "While home in Ireland after a long time away I needed a good home base to visit friends & family. Check in was a breeze, I was warmly welcomed and given the tour and key. The house is beautiful, secure, warm and inviting. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, families or reunions, loads of room and they have thought of absolutely EVERYTHING you might need. Fully stocked kitchen cupboards, table settings for a large group from egg cups to coffee, tea, spices, laundry soap,milk in the fridge, fruit...

"The Nook was a fabulous stay! Daniel was very communicative during the stay. My children loved “playing” tennis every morning (in quotations because they’re three and 4 months!) relatively easy to get into Dublin if needed but we really enjoyed being outside the city. Spent a lot of time on the Bray Promenade! Would recommend for anyone with families!"

"This is a quiet group of cottages set around an old house near the village of Donard. It is of a very high standard with modern facilities and plenty of space; the owner is charming and informative. Very easy to get to Dublin: 40 mins to the Luas stop. Rewarding visits within an hour: Glendalough, Russborough, Wicklow Mountains etc. Donard has two lively bars and a shop; Blessington has a lot of shops. Roads are excellent - though very few cars - and it's 1:45 easy driving from Rosslare....
