"Lovely stay at this property. Helpful service from the reception team. Rooms are very comfortable and had all the linen etc you could ask for. VERY short walk to the marina area. If you’re a traveller with mobility concerns, consider how you would walk around town as it is at the bottom of a hill. "

"Conveniently located, pleasant and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Bedrooms don't seem to be made up nowadays, coffees etc not replenished so overall a high price for little more than an AirBNB."

"This is a place you get a bed to sleep and breakfast, but don't expect anything great. Everything is very basic and the hotel needs a face uplift. At least during this stay it was totally over-priced (about 200 euro)."

"A historic building on the outside, modernized on the inside, the guest house lies on the Salpa Line which was built to defend Finland during WWII. The Karelian flag flies proudly in the garden. The hosts arrange tours of the line and enthusiastically suggest walks and activities around Lappeenranta. The walk from the house to the lake Myllylampi was beautiful and alive with birds. Rooms are equipped with kitchen and dining areas."
